This season would have been a great Ted Lasso season Take a down and out franchise, Hire a “Happy” coach. There is a star that hasn’t blossomed yet and the ownership want the coach to “fix” him. The veteran gets hurt and the team is forced to plan the young QB again. The results start slow, then the QB starts to understand move and results increase but they are still losing. You make it to the last game of the and your star you have been working with has the best game of the year and everything works to win. Everyone gets excited for the next year, then the camera goes to Canales walking into an office with his arm around Evero, saying “Now let’s see how we can help you”

Most 3-4 defenses outside LB work best when you have a speed guy on one side and a power guy on the other.

The only reason the Defense looked so good in 23 was that Bryce had more turnovers than allowed the other to have short fields. This year we moved the ball more, longer fields. I would like to see the data last year compared to this year, average starting position for the other team, average drive length

For those hoping for a 4-3, I think it’s a pipe dream. Tepper is from Pittsburgh where 3-4 was been run for many years. Evero will be leaving, Saleh is a friend of Caneles, so chances are that may be the new DC. So we will stay in the 3-4. i have said from the beginning that without a good NT a 3-4 will never stop the run. so if Evero or Saleh is here, we still need a solid NT

This is the draft to complete our transfer to a 3-4. Great DL prospects and a great NT in the second round area. We all knew we missed out on all NT’s last year. Evero’s Denfense does not work with out a strong DL

Oh yes, it all depends on who is running the D. If they resign Evero, what I said stands. If I was Evero, I would do my best to stay, this team is starting to improve, and possibly a good Defensive draft. We all know that we don’t have the talent on defense. but with a new DC will need to see what they prefer.

I have been thinking about the draft and our Defense. Brown returns, draft Graham if he is there, trade up in the second, draft Deone Walker that stops the running game

I am have mixed feelings about Carter and Graham. We need sacks, but our run defense is a total dumpster fire. So adding Graham to Brown would be a great run D. if we stay in a 3-4, we also need a NT. A NT is the early rounds (1-2) usually doesn’t happen. So we draft Carter, we should be looking for a solid NT in 3rd. Maybe like Stackhouse from Georgia

It’s all about the draft pick and what the team needed at the time. The Chiefs didn’t know Mahomes was gonna be the player that he became or they would have taken him in the first round. Mahomes was drafted to be a backup. draft position doesn’t matter if your front office knows how to draft and develop players.
