  1. We don't really know that. I think a lot of fans of all different teams think "oh we could bring him in and change him" but I just don't think that's necessarily the case. Blackmon at one point wasn't responding to any of his teammates' or coaches' texts or phone calls. The family atmosphere helps but it's up to the man to want to change himself. Maybe it'd be better here but it ultimately comes down to DGB himself. The female thing isn't even what concerns me. It's the pattern of being in trouble, especially with weed, which unfortunately the NFL comes down ridiculously hard on (I don't agree with it, but that's the way it is atleast for the foreseeable future). I just wouldn't want us to draft him and see him play ridiculously well for a few games and all of a sudden he's suspended indefinitely like Blackmon. Or suspended then comes back and is suspended for another year. I get his talent and potential, but unfortunately there are a lot of guys with that same talent and potential who just never realize it because they can't get out of their own way. Like I said if we did our research and came away feeling good about him then pull the trigger in the first. But if there's still some concerns I don't think it'd be worth it. Too bad he's likely off our board completely though. Could you imagine him and KB lining up across from each other with Cam for the next half a decade atleast?
  2. I don't see any of the Bucs, Falcons or Aints spending a pick on him where they could get him. Maybe the Bucs in the 2nd if he falls, but I still doubt it. Falcons can't afford to be drafting a wideout at all, let alone a huge risk, and the Aints just drafted Cooks in the 1st and have so many holes still. He definitely could be a complete monster on the field, but it's still a big risk. Look at Blackmon and Gordon. Superb on the field talents who will have both missed over a year of games, probably close to 2 for both, if they even get back on it at all. I wouldn't want us to use a 1st on him unless we had the utmost confidence in him being able to stay out of trouble.
  3. Only if it's the Sehawks in the 2nd round. That would floor me. I have a feeling he'll go top 20 though, which I'd be fine with seeing.
  4. We should be spying on DGB, could be value at 25 if they feel he can control himself. Obviously not gonna happen though.
  5. He doesn't know what he's talking about in this one. We'll have some cap space (not as much as he thinks) but DG won't go spend ~$10M/year on some overrated FA, like a "Torrey Smith." Nor should he. We're going to have a sh*tload of UFAs next year and our efforts will be put to retaining the ones we want to keep. I expect next year's FA to look a lot like this one. And it's good that way, we'll be able to continue drafting well and locking up our own guys.
  6. Well there was Dexterity... Thankfully that Cam contract thread got rid of him.
  7. Name one other. This guy has yet to start a single good thread.
  8. Thanks for posting, I was waiting by the computer days for another thread of yours.
  9. If Cooper fell to us I think I'd die of shock. The chances are .00000000000000000000000000001% though. And if he were to fall it would not be because of Perriman.
  10. Who I want us to pick: 1. Landon Collins 2. Nelson Agholor 3. Cedric Ogbuehi 4. Justin Hardy
  11. What if Cam's real accident had happened on April Fools Day?
  12. Hardy remains on the exempt list for the next 10 years until he just says "fug it" and retires.
  13. You forgot Moose, and even Ricky can come out of retirement and hell at this point bring back Pep too.
  14. They are all separate predictions.
  15. We have a 1500 yard rusher (not Cam). KB gets 15+ TDs. Corey Brown gets 500+ yards. Norman, Tre and Bene combine for 20 interceptions. Our offense finishes with the least amount of turnovers in the league. TD makes his first pro-bowl in a dominating season. Ealy gets 8+ sacks. KK gets 10 sacks. Our first round pick is voted OROY or DROY. Olsen doesn't hit 800 yards, but Dickson gets 500+. Rivera goes 100% on challenges. Our special teams ends up in the top 5 overall. Our defense and offense are both ranked top 10 in scoring. One of our comp picks ends up being voted to the all-rookie team. 19-0. Beat Seattle by more than 14. Hold Luck to 0 touchdowns and pick him off at least 2 times. Score at least 56 in a game. Get 4 shutouts. Cam throws for 4500 and 40 TDs. We have two 1000 yards WIDE RECEIVERS. No Huddler complains about Shula even once in any game. I am able to go to every home game. Jacksonville is our only loss. No team scores more than 17 on us.
  16. That is outrageous. YAC from Boykin was a product of Rodgers and the Packers offense. Philly is already a significantly better route runner than Boykin.
  17. He had some clutch first downs but I can't get that tipped pass that was picked off out of my mind ( I think against the Aints). Only gaffe I can remember as a wideout though. Fine as a #4 for us. Just should never be the go-to guy on a play in the playoffs against Seattle's secondary...
  18. I haven't read past the first few posts. Should I not?
  19. I love it when people just randomly rip on Rivera because they assume that players are on the team because he "loves JAGs" or "wants Rudys to succeed," as if the GM and positional coaches have absolutely nothing to do with those players getting playing time or being on the roster... And I never ever said that his roster spot will be handed to him or that it's his "God given right." His play on the field has shown me that he is a quality receiver and that he is worthy of not only a roster spot, but a contributing role, and he has a lot of potential and room to improve. If he magically, out of nowhere declines significantly from last year (which doesn't just happen barring serious injury that limits explosiveness, i.e. Nicks and Crabtree) then sure he may not make it. But I don't see that happening. If he continues to play like he did last year or improves, he will earn his roster spot.
  20. You laugh now, but let's remember this and see where each's career is at a few years down the road.
  21. Proehl does too? And DG as well? Because they probably make up 90% of the decision of whether to keep Brown on the roster or not.
