I think we would have had a good shot. I believe at the time we had already traded for the first overall pick, so Baltimore could have then immediately get whatever replacement they wanted for Lamar in the draft or trade for someone else. I still am baffled we were one of the teams that put out that ridiculous statement about not pursuing Lamar. Yeah, let’s not trade for the franchise carrying, mvp winning, all pro top 5 qb in league to help take this franchise higher places. They should have at least tried. They were willing to go all in on Watson but not Lamar, I don’t understand Tepper.

Cards and jags aren’t great either those two losses really sting looking at upcoming games.

Jags aren’t good, cards are still to be determined but I’m not sold, falcons are ass, pats aren’t that great and dolphins are on a down hill slide. Our schedule so far is and has been very favorable. Losing the last two weeks stings big time.

Sheesh you couldn’t ask for a better schedule to start the season, the first 5-6 games should have been easy street, losing the last two weeks is absolutely brutal. Hopefully the turn around starts today.

Solid point about the rookie contract especially since I believe Tepper and company brought that up, he was so good we could sign other players while he is on a rookie deal and capitalize on the cap space. Sorta like Seattle did with Russ while he was on a rookie deal. But, problem is Bryce isn’t close to that version of Russ and Tepper sucks as an owner.
