  1. & another thing let's say if Shedur Sanders is still avliable at #8 & you do not trade back with a Qb needy team wanting to trade for Shedur Sanders at #8:. then all at the same time you have just let your division rival more than likely draft a really talented Qb at #9... just Saying
  2. when you are not drafting BPA then sure it makes perfect sense to trade down.especiqlly when you take in consideration the fact that this particular draft class has an over abundance talented of edge rushers now if the Panthers were seriously considering taking BPA at #8 I would be more inclined to stay put
  3. Barry Sanders was only 5'8" & 200 lbs. played 10 seasons in the NFL without ever missing a game due to an injury ...jS
  4. if not , then the Panthers need to trade down .
  5. reaching / in the first at #8 for a position of need is an extremely risky option / selection ...just saying
  6. the thing about Golden is if your going to go in the draft & draft for need like everyone is assuming the Panthers are going to do by drafting an edge rusher such as Jaloʻn Walker or Mykel Williams well then on the flip side of that approach drafting for need the Panthers desperately need a WR who can play on the outside & is a really good route runner who can get open on all 3 levels & if nothing else it keeps the other teams defense honest they have to respect Goldens speed & will not able to as easily play man coverage on the outside & then just stack the box to stop the run like teams were doing all so often last season against the Panthers idk is there a WR i am forgetting about on our roster right now or is it in fact XL & Coker at 1 & 2 WR with Theilen in the slot ? if so my goodness I just can't imagine Bryce Young not struggling with that as his his primary targets at WR
  7. yeah it's hard to tell with size I mean just look at what Steve Smith did in the NFL at his size Golden is another small guy at 5'11" who in my opinion is the best WR in this class ran a 4.29 & then the kid is a terrific route runner & get open at all 3 levels something the Panthers desperately need right now idk what to say about an injury it's really all about genetics some people are more injury prone than others no matter what their size is
  8. yeah size & measurements really has nothing to with it .if so Shemar Stewart standing at 66" & 290 lbs. would be a top # 3 can't miss pick
  9. yeah he has no real change of direction short bursts of speed he struggles to get off the line I already know he has top end speed once he gets going
  10. T-Mac route running is predicable & will be really easy for these best of the best elite NFL corners to anticipate where he is going on the field T-Mac struggles to get off tbe line & separate no real burst . TMAc is just simply put slow by NFL standards for a WR T-Mac for sure yes he has a large catch radius for contested catches & a big frame .T-Mac YAC is not a physical smash mouth in your face type of player more of a finesse guy so what happens after he catches the ball does not play to his strength/size whichi limitis his ability to gain extra yardage & when T-Mac blocks n the run game he does not use his size to his advantage by aggressively engaging the defenders no thanks on T-Mac at #8 its to much of a risk & not a enough reward ...just saying
  11. trading back & drafting Golden/WR makes so much more sense for this team right now desperately needing to score more points & then not only that it also helps therir young Qb who they already know has struggled in tbe past due to the lack of talent at WR & then finally you acquire more draft capital to plug all the various holes you have on defense it's a win win win situation I just don't see Jalon Walker having that same type of impact at #8 ...just saying
  12. you have Xavier Leggette & Jalen Coker starting on the outside at WR two very young & inexperienced players.. if the Panthers want to go out there on a limb & reach for a player based solely off what the team needs instead of drafting BPA at #8 then the kid from Texas Matthew Golden would be the perfect player /fit for this team right now i guessi am confused to why it has to be a defensive player with the first pick ? & I am also confused to what happened to blah blah blah over & omg over again with just about everyone saying the same thing well you know Bryce Young was drafted to the worse situation possible he had no one to throw the ball 2 & by far not even close the worse group of WR's in the NFL / to all of a sudden that's not an issue anymore because why we have XL & Coker ? alot of things makes no sense just like drafting Mykel Williams at #8 makes no sense ...just saying
  13. that's it you have to really know how to properly evaluate your team .if not you trade up thinking your just one player away when in reality you are 2/3rds of a team away & in the process trade away the #1 overall pick the following year because your team had the worse record in football & was nowhere close to just one player away when you trade up or down it all BEGINS with evaluation not player evaluation but the team as a whole evaluation ...just saying
  14. I just feel like even if the Panthers traded back they would at some point still trade back up like last year they traded up to draft their first 2 picks .if this team likes a player they do not patiently wait on him it's not in their DNA to trade back & be patient
  15. LOL the Panthers the team who always overeacts & trades up is now going to trade back if Mykel Williams is there at #8:then Mykel Williams it is ...just saying
  16. i have a feeling the Panthers are going to reach for a player in the draft it's in their DNA to not draft the BPA ...just saying
  17. bingo that's the problem we want to play balanced football .however if you want to play balanced football then why would you do this ? this season it's been all defense while all at the same time ignoring the offense in FA the season before that it was all offense & even let a lot of key contributors walk on the defensive side of the ball in order to free up cap space so they can in turn spend more money on the offense & then in the draft they drafted a WR in the 1st & a RB in the 2nd & then before that a few seasons ago when we needed a Qb we traded Caleb Williams & Jalen Carter & 2 seconds our WR1 DJ Moore for a Qb Bryce Young LOL there is nothing balanced about this team whatsoever if anything it's the complete opposite of balanced
  18. i think a significant portion of our problems last season on the defensive line were due to injury if not for Derrick Brown's injury this dL would have had a different outcome / end result
  19. i just can't imagine how anyone could honestly look at this current roster & think we do not need to draft an offensive weapon who can catch the ball at #8 ...just saying
  20. nah I will pass this kids not an NFL WR1.the problem is not so much can he catch the ball i know he can do that. it's the corners in the NFL will have no problem covering this kid ...just saying
  21. best case scenario right now for the Panthers is trade back 3 or 4 spots & draft the TE from Penn State Tyler Warren whoever that 1st pick is needs to be a day 1 starter & fill a big hole/need
  22. I am hoping Ashton Jeanty is still avliable at #8 & we trade back .
  23. yeah when you dig/ create alot of holes you in turn have alot of hole sto choose from ...just saying
  24. this current team will not take BPA they never do take BPA .it's been a long time since this team drafted BPA in the 1st round
  25. Dan Morgan assembled not one of but the worst defense in NFL history last season .DM draft picks are not producing he took an injured RB in the 2nd & has has made some questionable FA moves Idk I could go on & on but why beat a dead horse...just saying
