  1. but let's just look at the Panther right now (2025) & what do you , i & everyone else see it's INEXPERIENCE 1) Qb 2 years experience / Bryce Young 2)WR 3 players with a combined 2 years experience Jalen Coker , Xavier Legette & a Rookie at WR1 Teotria McMilian 3) TE 1 year experience J.Sanders so whats that a total of altogether 5 players at key skill positions on the offensive side of the ball with a combined 5 years of experience in the NFL & then we have these rookie edge rushers that normally take at least on average 2 to 3 years of experience before they finally IF & WHEN develop into a legitimate starter in the NFL ? be patient right now this is going to be like watching paint dry & hopefully one day soon it shines
  2. my biggest concern with Bryce Young is consistency & that's the thing with pretty much all these Qbs in the NFL they all have the potential to be really good Qb's but it's the ones who can consistently be good for 4 quarters week in & week out that separates the elite Qbs from the average/bad Qbs in the NFL. & what i see in Bryce Young is very concerning to say the least because he struggles to be consistently good week in & week out.& moreover BY seems to play even better when the pressure is off in games toward the end of the season where the Panthers are not in a position to make the playoffs .it's really you never know right how BY is going to play from one week to the other & if you look at the other Qbs in the NFL you will see the same thing Qbs like Jameis Winston or Derek Carr & so many other Qb's who at times look like elite Qbs then at other times they struggle to make good decisions/ interceptions & complete passes so yes i think Bryce Young needs a legitimate plan B such as Shedur Sanders until he shows that he can be consistently good week in & week out
  3. LOL what about Bryce.Youngs measurables & athleticism Bryce Young goes #1 overal .then a few years later Shedur Sanders has a weak arm & not athletic enough to be drafted ? makes no sense ?
  4. with our current Qb situation i think its safe to say we (Panthers) need a plan B in case Bryce Young ultimately does not pan out .Shedur Sanders makes alot of sense for the Panthers ...just saying
  5. i thought the Panthers were currently in a rebuild ?&so why is it they are still attempting to trade up like they are only one or two players away for need/fit edge rusher ? it really makes no sense for a rebuild team to do this ? I guess the Panthers honestly think they have a chance to make the playoffs this upcoming season ? & will be picking in the latter part of the next year's draft .if they do trade up intto the top (32-43) of the 2nd round in order to draft an edge rusher it will most defenitely require picks from next year's draft
  6. when you are desperate to make something happen the odds of you getting burnt increase exponentially...
  7. in the 2nd i would try to trade up & draft CB Will Johnson & I already know everyone wants an edge rusher however another really good player still on the board right now is TE Mason Taylor.both of these players might even turn out to quiet possibly be the best CB or/& TE in this draft... I promise you if you draft for need/fit you will not have nearly as good of a team in the end as if you had took the best players .& like I have said before need/fit is for free agency not the draft .& another thing a 2nd round rookie edge rusher is going to have little to hardly any impact on this teams success this upcoming season an edge rusher takes time to develop into a legitimate starter in the NFL...just saying
  8. yeah Tet McMillian is not Mike Evans that is not a good comparision it's a lazy one if anything Tet looks like a slightly heavier George Pickens coming out of college
  9. Tet McMillian does not play with that dawg mentality like he is going to war when i look at Tet i see more of a finesse type of WR finesse works fine when you have superior talent to your opponents but this is the NFL an entirely different animal than the Big 12 i want to see Tet McMillian become more physical & use that big body to his advantage especially when he has the ball in his hands /YAC..just saying
  10. like I said before i am going to play nice . anyway i have wanted for quiet some time now to trade down & draft a WR (Golden) in the first of course that did not just happen but at the same time we still got a WR / playmaker for Bryce Young & this offense
  11. yeah Mason Taylor can also play in the slot as a WR so i agree he is going to have/has more zip & elusviness as a route runner than the other two
  12. probably not i think MG might even be WR 1 on some big boards .to me he looks like the best WR in this draft class
  13. trade back to the latter part of the first round acquire an additional first round pick for next season & then draft Matthew Golden in the 23ish range
  14. it does not exist now because we try to draft for need/fit on a team that has holes everywhere everyone talks about how great Marty Hurney was in the first round & if you go back & look the one thing that made Marty Hurney so good in the first round was he always took BPA. & here is another more recent example of BPA Dan Morgan drafted BPA just last season when he traded up in the 2nd for an injured RB that was the BPA at the time on most big boards
  15. if your BPA at #8 is Jeanty then ideally trade back a few spots try to get a 2nd or even an extra 3rd .picks #9 - #12 really like Jeanty & if they want to low ball ( fleece) you since they already know you will more than likely not draft Ashton Jeanty then screw it go ahead & call therir bluff & draft AJ then just sit back & watch them get in a bidding war to acquire his rights & that very least /worse case scenario keep Jeanty & Hubbard & just run the ball down the opponents throat ...just saying BPA
  16. i honestly do not think we (Panthers) have many irreplaceable players on this team right now .& they should just simply keep drafting BPA each & every round &so what if you have two really good players that play the same position that is a good problem to have since you now have someone you can trade for even more draft picks there is one thing for certain you cannot play or trade a bust all you can do is at some point cut your losses & if Mason Graham is BPA at #8 ; then that's who the Panthers should most defenitely draft ...just saying
  17. so sure we can draft BPA we have done it before on numerous occasions & as a result had some of the best drafts in franchise history . & like this team just thought they had absolutely no other choice but to draft a WR with the first pick last year & then what happens we sign (UDFA ) a WR who might wind up being better than that WR we though we had to trade up into the 1st round to draft building quality football teams takes alot of patience & a rookie edge rusher is not going to fix this team what is going to fix this team is talent/BPA patience & making good decisions...just saying
  18. if you want to be successful at the draft you have to always take BPA .if not we (Panthers) would have for example never drafted a HOF LB by the name of Luke Keuchly. &, why do you often see the exact same teams picking at the top of the draft year in & year out year after year like clock work doing the exact same thing by ignoring BPA & instead drafting for need/fit often times never really seem to find the right players to assemble a winning football team with if Jalon Walker is who the Pats think is BPA at #4 then that is most defenitely who they need to draft at #4 ...just saying
  19. these two rare uniquie yet very similar players. Jalon Walker like Everette Brown could/can BOTH play outside linebacker as well as move inside at edge & both are very good at rushing the passer .& they once again both have the athletic ability to take on offensive linemen & shed blocks i& also drop hack & contribute in pass coverage. these two not only have rare yet very similar skill sets but skill sets that you would & will not find in your average edge rusher ...just saying
  20. here lately the Panthers have reached & traded up time & time again & in the process wasted alot of our draft picks to fill a need/fit that's why most all teams fill their holes in FA & draft BPA i honestly cannot remember the last time the Panthers drafted BPA in the 1st round ?& i know for a fact that's been one of the main reasons they have been so unsuccessful at drafting quality players here lately now on the other hand look at Marty Hurney would patientlywait until it was time for the Panthers to pick & no matter what we needed at that time MH always took the best player avilable & as a result that's one of the main reasons he had so much success especially in the 1st round of the draft ...just saying
  21. this Jalon Walker kid is starting to remind me each & everyday more & more of Everette Brown & if history repeats itself we might be screwed again this year...just saying
