  1. Idk, we need to get really scientific here. Anybody have a waist up picture of him next to Mina Kimes?
  2. Glad to see they’ve got their priorities in order: 1. Virtue signal so you can get an espn article. 2. Find the right HC.
  3. Lol imagine crying about the dude not looking swole after 3 months and then talking about reality.
  4. The buzz surrounding McConkey reminds me a lot of the pre draft buzz with OBJ. He starts the draft process as a 2nd round prospect and you just keep hearing about his route running and separation and it doesn’t add up to a second round prospect. Then sure enough on draft day he goes top 20.
  5. I’m confused, didn’t OP say the names he listed would be his mock, not the Athletic’s? Anybody know who the Athletic mocked?
  6. It’s behind a paywall. Can you tell us who they picked for the Panthers?
  7. Can’t wait for the meltdown if he signs with another team.
  8. Yeah I don’t doubt it. The only reason I know who he is is because I ran a draft simulator a few times and it was always him and Kris Jenkins son on the board as best available for our 4th round pick so I looked them up to see the difference. Thought it might be nice to pick up a big space eater like Sweat in those mid rounds but not keen on the positional value earlier when we already have Robinson.
  9. I thought Sweat was more like a 4th-5th round prospect. I’d be fine taking him in those later rounds but not earlier.
  10. While I agree Horn’s injuries could not be predicted since he didn’t have a history of them coming out of college, I don’t think he’s proven to be better than Surtain when healthy. Who knows, maybe if he had stayed injury free he would have been better and he just hasn’t been able to develop as much due to the injuries. Hard to fault the team for that when they were neck and neck in pre draft evals. HOWEVER, acting like Ickey has ever been “really good” in pass pro is some wild revisionist history. He was a dominant run blocker coming out of college who teams thought could develop into an elite LT based on his size and athleticism, but his weaknesses coming out of college remain his weaknesses now. We decided to run the ball for 75% of the snaps for half a season in 2022 and people thought that meant our OL could pass pro. So nonsensical.
  11. Except he’ll be an unrestricted free agent so there’s no guarantee they get to bring him back if they want to. Pretty strange deal.
  12. From nfl.com: As part of their deal to acquire Diggs, the Texans are eliminating the final three years of Diggs' contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday. The move adds four void years to Diggs' deal, while moving money originally guaranteed for 2025 into 2024, effectively giving Diggs a one-year, $22.52 million contract, per Rapoport. Diggs will become an unrestricted free agent in 2025, meaning his first season with the Texans could also be his last.
  13. A second round pick and 22m fully guaranteed contract for 1 year lol.
  14. Pretty sure the Cardinals traded a second. The point was that the Cardinals were certainly hoping for more than one full year of production, regardless of the reasons.
  15. You guys ‘member when the Raiders traded only like a 3rd round pick or something for Antonio Brown? Or the Cardinals trading for DeAndre Hopkins and only getting like one good season out of him? I don’t think trading for disgruntled WRs has quite the positive track record some seem to believe it does.
  16. Hopefully, but him taking a front office position doesn’t bode well.
  17. Do we have to do this every single time another team signs or trades for a player whose name you know? There’s other teams in the league doing their own things, get over it.
  18. Like actually wtf. New assholes same as the old I guess. This franchise is doomed.
  19. Oh good, perfect timing for the team to get some extra motivation to play for their coach with a crucial game against the Blazers coming up and a bottom 3 of the league record in reach. They’ll probably win a couple more games now and get 5th best odds in the draft instead of 3rd. This dumbass just can’t stop screwing this team. AND he’s moving into a front office role? For what, being a terrible coach? What a fuging tumor he has been to this franchise.
  20. Yeah worked for the Bucs too, although they did a lot less trading than the Rams. However, the Rams also tried to double down and send us 2 first round picks and a 2nd for Burns and they would have gotten completely screwed on that deal had the Panthers been smart enough to take it.
  21. I get he’s got a big contract and a big ego, but the Bills having to send 2 late round draft picks in addition just to get a second round pick in return does seem like pretty good value on Houston’s end.
