He was considered a run first QB when he transferred to Kentucky from Penn State. He’s a little old for a rookie, but he’s only been the starting QB for two seasons. The progress he’s made is pretty impressive to get where he is today. At least it shows he’s willing to do the dirty work of the job.

I tried explaining on the board that all last season he played injured and behind one of the worst lines in the country. That and his coordinator, who has since been fired after one year, was dog poo. But most of this board has made their mind up on him already. But the Cam comparisons need to stop until he takes some snaps in the NFL. If goes one, it’s all on potential. Cam was taken at one as much more of a complete package.

For a small guy Bryce has decent hands. Doesn’t seem to be any concern about hand size with any of these QBs like there was with Pickett last year

Darnold would be a great backup. No reason to dismiss or poo on the idea of that. The Panthers wouldn’t be signing him to be the long term starter again.

Kyler Murray is a small guy but he’s at least got some thickness to him. Bryce Young is going to be broken in half by some of the defensive linemen in the league.
