WTF is wrong with you? Your argument is shot. Bene played every moment he was healthy. Once Boston was healthy, and got some practice under his belt, he was put in the lineup. You're digging a hole to poo poster status, because you refuse to let it go.

Boston was a rookie, who had hernia surgery prior to camp, and then tore the scar tissue from said surgery late in camp. You really think he was the better choice, considering he was recovering from injury, and hadn't seen the field at all? You kind of have to go with DeCoud in that situation. Cason wasn't in front of Bene. Bene was the starting nickel back, then got a high ankle sprain. That forced Godfrey into the nickel. Nobody knew Jones would be a stud in the buffalo package, all that had to be sorted out over the course of a few weeks. There wasn't a whole lot that could have been done with the roster we had in the secondary. Would you have started Norman, knowing what pre-2014 looked like? He had to earn the trust of the coaches. A ton of people called me an idiot when I said, during camp, that Norman would be a good starter this season. I'm sure a ton of people would have lost their poo if Norman would have been named a starter when the season began. Who, besides Norman, did we have to play outside corner? White, Cason, ....? Gotta play who you have available...

I have to agree, especially with the first sentence. I think he offers a little more than just speed though. Definitely not a "fringe" 1st rounder IMO. I'd personally put him in the late 2nd - mid 3rd range, leaning more to the mid 3rd.

Benjamin was a 1st round talent. Smith is not. Doesn't mean I don't like him, but it's very much a reach in the 1st.

This is what I saw as well. I didn't see many people running him down once he was out in front. Most of the time he was running away, or they weren't gaining any ground on him. Definitely faster than the combine times suggest.

Don't know the whole story, but from what I understand, it was multiple players and coaches as well. Incognito was just the main instigator.

Sorry, should have been more clear. That's what I've been going by, to calculate drop percentage. They do only show pros, so any info on college guys is from another source, but I use that method to calculate. It seems to be the method they use as well, as they have KB at 145 targets, 10 drops, 6.9%.
