  1. I’m curious to see what his trade market would look like. Obviously darnold was a 2nd plus, but there’s no way in the world Bryce can pull that with his size limitations and how much he’s regressed this season. Plus it would have to be a team willing to extend him because he’s not gonna go anywhere and play on the same contract. I bet we just end up cutting him.
  2. Bryce will not play on a one year deal, and he shouldn’t.
  3. It started during the Denver game after that first drive. i don’t think the panthers got a first down again until the fourth quarter.
  4. I’ve never once in my life gotten to use my undergraduate degree and you’re not going to take this moment from me. don’t worry, Nolan’s Odysseus is coming out soon. You’ll understand. (It’s going to freaking own btw)
  5. Baldurs gate 3 is so fuging good
  6. I predict the Green Bay game was the dam break moment for the national media and Bryce.
  7. And Odysseus lost his crew. And all the argonauts died. And Orpheus turned and looked back at Persephone. failing while accomplishing your task is not uncommon, or succeeding in a way you weren’t expecting is the whole point of mythos and greek tragedy The more I think about this Bryce is somewhat of a tragic figure. Hope he doesn’t have sex with his mom.
  8. Since the season started? mythos would be anything that describes him as “just winning games” or coming on in the fourth quarter or talking about “game winning drives” or whatever. That’s what mythos is. any time mark schlereth opens his mouth about Bryce he’s basically invoking the Greek oral tradition to talk about how a demigod is about to overcome the odds. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/bryce-young-comments-game-winning-drive-carolina-panthers-green-bay-packers mythos is just recurrent plot structure or themes.
  9. If you’re honestly saying that you’ve never seen a media source hyping up Bryce young despite everything else we’ve seen, I want to live in the world you live in.
  10. I don’t think nussmeier is worth a second after this season.
  11. That’s one more rep than anyone else has shown.
  12. Fourth/fifth least efficient passing attack in the league
  13. Panthers literally missed the playoffs by a game in 2022 and had the best win since 2017 when they beat Brady.
  14. Or he’ll demand a trade/threaten to hold out. He could make more on a two year contract as a backup.
  15. Plenty of people were wrong about DB and I wasn’t one of them. tell me about why this is actually a good rep from scourton https://x.com/jacobmorley/status/1985404874847072370?s=46
  16. Everyone keeps comparing Bryce to Andy Dalton who a.) had more yards than he did yesterday and b.) played with a broken thumb. like im not sure that’s making the point people think it is.
  17. James Anderson had motor. That doesn’t mean he’s going to develop into anything. It just means at the end of the day he can be a pile jumper. the defense is playing better compared to last season because brown and horn are healthy. We’re two weeks removed from Buffalo running all over us wherever they wanted. Was he setting the edge there too? The only thing that stopped Jacobs yesterday was lafleur. In don’t have an opinion on Abdul carter and I’m indifferent about what some dorks at pff think his win % is I get he’s a rookie I don’t expect him to set the world on fire, but I don’t notice him either and I’d like to think I’m a little better at watching football than just the casual observer looking at stats. “You gotta know the game, man” isn’t a very convincing argument.
  18. yesterday the packers stacked the box and he called timeout
  19. lmao garrett nussmeier in the 2nd get the fug out of here
  20. They still had time to kick the game tying field goal on their next possession. They forced the panthers to kick a game winning field goal from 50 yards and in those conditions you take that every time a touchdown at that point puts the game away with Bryce at qb. Plus, that edge was just being set so successfully you don’t know when you’re gonna get another opportunity. lafleurs real fug up was going away from jacobs. But I guess he was so intimidated by the edge setting of scourton he panicked.
  21. You’re right. Silly me to point out running back success. what setting the edge really translates to is thrown interceptions, fumbles on screens and missed field goals.
  22. No they’re another team that eats poo against Bryce for some reason
