Pretty much what I said yesterday, this team fielded one of the worst rosters in franchise history Sunday and they expect Bryce (who is not that type of QB) to somehow carry them. The pass protection is horrible, the receivers are horrible and the running game was non existent. Everyone wants us to throw deep when our fastest WR yesterday runs a 4.6. For the third season in a row we have the slowest WR core in the league this team refuses to draft speed on offense. And I agree Canales and Bryce really don’t fit from a scheme perspective, Bryce needs a Sean Payton or Mike Mcdaniels type, Canales wants a gun slinger, they need to find the happy medium.

That’s mostly a reflection of the defense, even if we had a average offense in those games it would still be a huge disparity cause our D is is on a historically bad pace

Not compared to that team under Wilks where damn near rush for 300 yards vs the lions and had multiple games around 200 yards rushing, I don’t think we had a running game close to that. DJ speed gives an offense more dimension than TMac size he’s also only a rookie

In those 6 games Darnold played he had 9 total TD and the running game was doing the heavy lifting and no Tet is not in DJ level. DJ is one of the few WR than can take a simple swing pass 80. And we are talking about 2023 when Bryce number one was Thielen.

You do know Bryce would have been the number 1 pick no matter who picked him. I could can post film breakdowns of what makes Bryce “special” but you will just pop poo it .

Of cause that doesn’t suit your narrative In that seven game stretch since the bye we averaged 22 ppg and Bryce had 16 TD, never has Darnold done that in Carolina. With a much better supporting cast.

Yep Dalton played great in those first two games against bottom tier defenses. Then it got worse and worse, he played one of the worse games of his career vs Washington and got boat raced by a backup QB. So what’s your point? Bryce was legit horrible in those two first weeks last year missing guys left and right and deserved to be benched, this year not so much.

The panthers are on par with those two franchises, and you think Bryce won’t get another shot if let go???? Lol We got trade offers for him last year when he was legit playing horrible. Darnold wasn’t even that good in that 3-0 start it was a lot of running the ball , Brady play calling and the defense playing lights out. I think our defense was giving up like 10 ppg those 3 games and with a bunch of turnovers and we still couldn’t crack 30 points, something Bryce did more than Darnold and Baker.

What highlight reel moments they had in Carolina? Getting balls batted down? Throwing picks? You do know those two guys inherited a team with DJ Moore, Robbie Anderson and CMC, and Darnold had Joe Brady calling plays so you can’t use the coaches excuse. Bryce 6 game stretch last season was better than anything Darnold and Baker did in the panthers combined. Your one on those that anytime the announcers or people who breakdown film compliment Bryce you think it’s some big conspiracy. I can post multiple Bryce film breakdowns of him making “special” plays but your gonna find some crazy logic to say they don’t count.

Is Baker special? Darnold? Daniel Jones? Even guys like Jalen Hurts he’s special? Or are those teams special, those coaches special? Theres not a singular way to win the nfl

Bryce has to improve but this mess on the field I don’t even think Josh Allen can save us at this point.

Players like Cam don’t grow on trees and “special plays” don’t equate to squat when you are losing. There’s a reason half of this board wanted to get rid of Cam during his prime.

Show me the multiple clips of him open deep, both times Bryce targeted him deep he was covered and to his defense he was being held both times. Theres a reason he had doubters coming out he’s not really a separator, which I’m fine with as long if you have someone positive of him that’s fast and shifty

LOL oh please Cam would struggle with this roster also. I would also defend Cam cause he was also saddled with a terrible supporting cast. We were barely a .500 team with Cam and our offense was top 10 what? 3 times in 10 years and our passing games was barely top 20. A lot of revisionist history going on here Theres a reason Baker with Moore and CMC was horrible in Carolina

Bryce is not the one dialing up the plays and I hate to break it to you we haven’t had a deep threat WR since Bryce got drafted. McMillan is not a burner so don’t use him as an example

You have a bad case of Bryce derangement syndrome, from the moment we drafted him you done nothing but dogged him.

Nice try he had one completion over 20 the majority under 5 yards. And two of those came when the game was over in the late 3rd Q

Better receiver, better scheme and better protection. I would suggest you go look at Maye passing chart, he feasted on our terrible LBs

TMac is a rookie and no Renfrow wouldn’t crack the majority of teams roster. Any team could of had him this offseason when we cut him

You saw the tape already? The only time Bryce missed was a couple checkdown underneath outside of that every time they showed a replay no one was open.

That was the worst set of WR we have ever played, and you are blaming Bryce for that s**t show. This game was over the second they thought it was smart idea to only activate 4 WR. There’s a reason every QB that has put on a panthers uniform has looked horrible
