Charlotte FC has loaned goalkeeper, Adrian Zendejas, to USL side, Miami FC (not to be confused with MLS side, Inter Miami). Zendejas spent most of last year on loan to the Charlotte Independence of the USL. George Marks and Pablo Sisniega will compete for the starting goalkeeper position while Kahlina recovers from back surgery.

Hopefully Ian Jackson reclassifies. Carolina could use him next year.

Lattanzio also mentioned that the team has four wingers and that he sees Armour more as an attacking player; so that would be Jozwiak, Shinyashiki, Gaines, Vargas, and then Armour is an option as a fifth winger.

A couple of tidbits dropped today. Kahlina has undergone successful back surgery. No idea how long this will keep him out but more importantly, it will be interesting to see if Lattanzio goes with Marks or Sisniega. Lattanzio also mentioned that Reyna is not expected to be a part of the team this year and that he sees Adam Armour as more of an attacking player.

Another thing this does is open up a roster spot. The Canes snuck Kase on LTIR a couple weeks ago and I’d be surprised if he returned at all. So theoretically the Canes could take on a $4.5M contract as long as the team we are trading with retained 50% of the contract.

Also, trading a first rounder for Skjei at the deadline a few years ago is exactly how you manage your assets correctly. Big props to GM Donny Dubs for getting a guy with term for a first rounder.

If Brady continues to get PP looks, he might end up in the top 3 for goals by defensemen. With 9 goals this year, he’s tied for seventh among defensemen.

Couple of notes from Rod’s radio interview. Patches is unlikely to play tomorrow but he avoided a major injury, the team is going to be very cautious with him in regards to any injuries as he continues to work his way back from his achilles injury. The goalie situation will be resolved soon, Rod does not want to use a 3-man rotation, expect Kochetkov to head back down to Chicago. For what it’s worth, Rod said Kochetkov’s lengthy absence a while back was due to an injury.

Now Necas Is hurt… guys need to pick their head up and stop fuging running into each other. Patches got hurt when he bumped into Noesen and now Necas is hurt after bumping into Svechnikov.
