    Couple of small school defensive players that I’d be interested in are Jerrod Clark from Coastal and Durrell Johnson from Liberty. Clark is a massive NT that was originally recruited as a tight end and is pretty damn quick for a 340 lb. NT. Johnson is an OLB who played JUCO ball before Liberty. To my knowledge, he led the entire FBS in TFL’s last year.

    My general expectation is that we might get knocked out next round from a sheer talent perspective. However, the Freddie Andersen that played last night can steal a series.

    Feel like you go RB here, a 5th round CB, LB, TE, etc. is unlikely to come in and help right away. But Abanikanda, McBride, or Evans can certainly come in and feel the void that Foreman left. Probably want to reach out to Marcus Peters, Leonard Floyd, Yannick Ngakoue by the end of the day. CB and a legit EDGE opposite of Burns are definite needs.

    Gonna go ahead and eat my first serving of crow in regards to Freddie, he kept the Canes in the game during the first two periods. Hopefully the guys have a second helping for me by the end of the night.

    There’s no change. We don’t have enough high end talent to get this done and our inability to handle their forecheck is brutal. This is a Canes team that doesn’t get outshot a bunch, when they do it’s usually because they are getting their poo kicked in, like right now. Our best player has actually been Andersen.
