  1. Be glad you aren’t there. I decided to go by myself and I’ll probably have to Uber home… the last 30 minutes were depressing.
  2. First half thoughts: - I originally really liked Lindsey but the last few times that I’ve watched him, he’s really struggled. Benji Michel absolutely cooked him on Orlando’s goal. Additionally, Fuchs just isn’t a LB anymore, I’d prefer him at CB. - Corujo is a great CB and though I usually give Makoun poo, he saved a goal tonight. - Bronico seems like a nice guy but he’s invisible and with him being a CDM that’s not a good thing. He needs to truly be an extension of the back four… a Kellyn Acosta type player if you will. - I’m not sure what’s up with Franco but he just hasn’t impressed me at all this season. Not sure what is successful passing % is but imagine that it can’t be good. - Ortiz is playing the best game of his Charlotte career tonight, very active on both ends of the field. - Jordy Alcivar is probably my favorite player I just love the way he moves off the ball. - The Swiderski and Rios connection is no longer working. Teams have scouted us and are essentially shifting all focus to Swiderski which forces him to drop down into the midfield to receive a pass. Every time Swiderski drops he leaves Rios on an island and Rios is not prime Altidore, he’s not scoring by himself. - I was originally ecstatic with the start as I was happy with our press and I thought that the inswinging balls from outside backs were really dangerous. Now we are playing to slow again and getting no service. - The goal we gave up off of our own corner was atrocious. I mean this is JV poo… if you send your CB’s up for the corner under no circumstance should both your outside backs and CDM also be that far forward. Just all around poo communication by Lindsey and Bronico.
  3. They absolutely poo’d on Fitterer and the Hawks when they drafted Wilson, Wagner, and Irvin. I feel comfortable with what Fitterer does regardless of if we are given an A or an F.
  4. Just some names… QB - Carson Strong QB - Aqeel Glass QB/WR - D’Eriq King RB - Bam Knight RB - Max Borghi WR - Kevin Austin Jr. WR - Tre Turner WR - Charleston Rambo WR - Justyn Ross WR - Isaiah Weston TE - Peyton Hendershot TE - Chase Allen OT - Kellen Diesch G - Bill Dunkle C - Ben Brown C - Alec Lindstrom C - Dohnovan West DE - Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa DT - Jayden Peevy DT - Noah Elliss LB - Aaron Hansford LB - Jeremiah Gemmel LB - Mike Rose LB - JoJo Domann CB - Josh Thompson CB - Isaac Taylor-Stuart CB - Kyler McMichael CB - Sam Webb S - Markquese Bell S- Smoke Monday K - Nick Sciba
  5. Looks like they don’t plan to use him as a returner.
  6. Looks like his best year came in 2019… when Rhule was his coach. Was also a WR before transitioning to a full time corner. Odd that he’s never returned kicks or punts, only special teams snaps appear to have come as a gunner.
  7. So apparently no experience returning kicks or punts but has been a gunner.
  8. Fugging Baylor… it’s not you kid… it’s just your school. Hopefully with that speed he can be an elite gunner.
  9. Our coaching staff admitted that they made a mistake and stated that Brady should have been playing LT much earlier in the year. The last three games of the season be average a 73.0 pass blocking grade at LT which puts him in the above average tier. Obviously you don’t want to draft a LG at six but if Brady can prove to be a better LT than LG and he also shows that he’s a better pass blocker (which right now he might be) than Ickey then you give him a shot and figure it out later. I’m starting to realize you value draft picks and actual positions as where I value the actual player. Draft position means nothing to me except for the fact that your dart has a better chance of landing.
  10. Feel like they should just swing for the fences again on another athlete… WR - Kevin Austin Jr. ILB - Baylon Spector (Nvm just got selected) CB - Josh Thompson CB - Isaac Taylor-Staurt S - Markquese Bell
  11. I’m not referencing the actual block, I’m saying I’m surprised he didn’t back track and engage with an already engaged defender. Instead he looked forward. I feel like a lot of young OL turn around and back track when they can’t find anyone to block rather than continuing to move forward. Impressive of him to scan the field and continue to the next level.
  12. That’s what I’m hoping for but if for some reason BC simply continues to struggle at LG I’d much rather have the best five on the field then see Erving out there.
  13. Funny clip but also smart not to do something stupid there. I’d venture to say a lot of OL would have gone chop block with an already engaged defender or committed some stupid penalty there looking for work.
  14. Does the pope poo in the woods (unfortunately not, but it would be great if he did).
  15. I think we are getting ahead of ourself if we think Ickey is going to be better than Moton on day one. And the point is you nor I don’t know what we have in Brady. It goes back to the fact that the players already on the roster deserve a chance to prove their worth.
  16. We all get what you want but it’s the whole wish in one hand and poo in the other scenario. I’d love to win the lottery but it’s not going to happen (because I have shitty luck). Sometimes you have to throw multiple darts to hit the bullseye. Hell, the Browns had to throw 20+ darts before deciding on a sexual predator. Sometimes the best course of action is patience. For all the scenario’s you mentioned there is also a scenario where Darnold starts, does poorly, Corral comes in around week 10 and plays lights out and the Panthers end up with the 10th pick. Maybe someone like Tyler Van Dyke or Brennan Armstrong is an option there but at the same time you could also be comfortable with Corral and start looking to draft weapons for him like Josh Down. Point is… so many different scenarios… no reason to force a square peg into a round hole just to get Corral killed.
  17. You do if it puts the best five players out on the field. You don’t play Ickey at LT and then play Erving next to him because at that point you’ve negated Ickey’s impact because he’s covering for Erving. Best five guys play and if Ickey has to slide inside for 1 YEAR then so be it.
  18. Me knowing that it took longer for us to find a complete OL than it did for us to (mostly) get through the pandemic.
  19. I really think it depends on if Brady can play LG, up to this point it hasn’t been a great experiment as he performed better at LT. Worst case scenario is Ickey gets kicked inside for a year and mauls the poo out of people while they see if Brady can be a good LT. If Brady doesn’t pan out then of course you have Ickey ready at LT and Deonte Brown and Cade Mays ready to fight for for that LG position. If neither one of them fixes the problem then you address the guard position in next years draft with a second round pick or so.
