  1. I usually do an annual mock draft accuracy competition with a bunch of friends, we’ve done it for 20 years. Adds a bit of additional fun to the draft.
  2. I think this is the big difference between the for and against camps. I don’t think he can be coached to overcome the mental aspects as there was no sign of progress in 2022 and he’s already a bit older. But I could be totally wrong.
  3. Lol, it has admittedly crossed my mind as well
  4. This was obviously for the crowd saying do nothing and just wait for next years draft, but you knew that. On a complete side note. I remember when Oldham used to be an extremely hard away game for any opponent. Consistently a top team on the second division, making noise in the FA cup etc. What happened? I’m not as close to it as I used to be in the 90s.
  5. I think it is absolutely normal to be a bit of a homer and defend your guys. But would you really draft him in the top 10?
  6. When you started this thread it looked like a duplicate of the other mock draft thread. But you’ve been cranking out mock drafts like a champ. Mock draft season is always a fun part of the year. Good for you man!
  7. I still don’t understand how you would have told/made the players not win on purpose. How do you actually do that in real life?
  8. It is totally fine to want Lamar. Different opinions make this board more interesting. Where it goes sideways is where every topic discusses Lamar. That’s what people get tired of. For example, this is a Will Levis thread.
  9. I think we do, and I don’t know if anyone will top it. Best case scenario is essentially Texans trading up and we go for pick #2.
  10. Very fair. This would be our only option to create any leverage. Essentially let us know shortly or we’ll move on to the Cardinals. But this play is admittedly a stretch.
  11. I might be wrong here, but from what I’ve seen is that Richardson is inexperienced and inaccurate. Levis is bad at processing. It is extremely hard to overcome poor processing in an older more experienced player. Not saying it can’t be done, but it feels like an uphill climb.
  12. If it was me I would give the Bears my best offer but they would have to accept before FA starts as a trade would dictate our FA strategy.
  13. Mods, maybe this should be pinned? It is Josh McCown breaking down Young, Stroud and Levis shortly before he was hired as our QB coach.
  14. All three of them are great, well worth your time
  15. Josh Norris and Josh McCown (pre us hiring him) made this excellent show where they analyzed Young, Stroud and Levis. Their analysis felt very fair and unbiased. I haven’t watched any of Levis games myself, but I fully trust the opinions of the Joshes, and the Levis review was rough. They tried to be nice, but it felt like the mental aspect and processing is significantly lacking for Levis. So that’s why I don’t want him. I don’t hate him at all, but that analysis made me not want him. Here is the link;
  16. This is my assumption: If we like Young and Stroud, we’ll have to get to 1 or 2 to get them. They will be gone by pick 3. If we are good with 3 of them with no strong preference we should trade with the Cards. Personally I believe Young and Stroud are clearly the top 2, then a drop of to Richardson and then a big drop of to Levis. But that is just my opinion, I obviously have no idea what the Panthers think.
  17. I also don’t put tons of weight on Kunkel’s opinion on best scheme fit. I would think Stroud is a great fit.
  18. So what is your QB solution. Not trying to be an ass here, just curious. Mine is to risk it a bit and trade up for Stroud.
  19. So you’re saying you should always drive a run down crappy car so you didn’t have to worry to get hit by another car?
  20. It means that he likes our current crew. I’m here all day for any other questions I can help with.
  21. Colts feels like a team that is constantly over thinking it. I don’t think they will get their act together and trade up. But that is some wild speculation on my end.
  22. Could be, it could also mean we have our long term answer at QB. At some point we have to do something, we know doing nothing will not work.
  23. I agree, it just bugs me that some reporters are not more upfront about it. It is an issue with the clickbait era unfortunately.
