  1. Getting both Broncos and Seahawks at home is a lucky break for us. Not saying we’ll win, but it is very different to play those two games away
  2. My only reason for not drafting Overton is that I think he’s a Left Tackle every time I see his name.
  3. Proctor scares me, the track record of tackles in his size range is really bad. I’d stay away from him
  4. Interesting, I thought Walker was good in coverage, thank you for sharing
  5. My ideal scenario is Quay Walker (LB) from Green Bay and Jaelan Phillips (rush end) from Eagles. I think Dan will be hyper aggressive and fill these two roles on day 1.
  6. I’m very intrigued by TJ Parker. Had a just ok year after two outstanding years. Still really young. Felt like the whole Clemson team was off this year. He could be a very good pick for us in the first round.
  7. One of my favorite things are people jumping for joy saying Bryce is less bad than Stroud. Nothing about Bryce being good, just that Stroud was even worse this year… We all have a different expectations I guess…
  8. Admittedly I’ve never been impressed by McDermott. Having Allan drag the Bills to the playoffs every year in a division with walkovers Jets and Dolphins is not very impressive tbh. What is it that he’s done to make his team overachieve? But maybe I’m missing something?
  9. I’m not sure about the level of edge rushers available when we pick, but one guy that intrigues me is Anthony Hill Jr. from Texas. As a lb he’s played all over the place for Texas. Would he benefit from moving to edge full time in our 3-4? He looks to have all the traits you want in that role but I don’t know enough about him.
  10. Isn’t Evero’s defense historically a low sack generating defense? Or maybe I have that wrong
  11. The huge difference is that Darnold had all the physical characteristics of an elite QB, had limited experience in college and needed time to learn the game and some good coaching.
  12. We need to trade XL this offseason. He’s a constant negative play for us. Would truly be an addition by subtraction
  13. I mean there were two things that couldn’t happen in the last drive. Bryce taking a sack or Bryce running around holding the ball for 10 seconds. One of them did happen… His constant lack of urgency and understanding of the situation is infuriating. if the play wasn’t there he should’ve just thrown the ball away.
  14. He’s destined for a backup role. He did good for being him yesterday, but that cannot be the standard we’re using. He was the least good qb out of the four playing yesterday. If you watched GB and Bears, those QBs made throws Bryce could only dream of. If we aspire to win Superbowls, Bryce can’t be our QB.
  15. Some mistakes from the Rams, they might be starting to press a little bit, they have everything to lose
  16. I want to win, but if the cost of that victory is Bryce with no competition next year, the price for the win is too high
  17. He’s playing inside right now and is around 245lbs, so this strikes me as very odd. He looks like the perfect ILB to me. But I’ve been wrong before
  18. And on this whole “Bama Bryce” thing. He lived off out of structure, when things break down, vs. lesser athletes in College. That has proven to not work in the NFL and was the concern for a lot of us from the get go, in addition to lack of arm strength and size.
  19. Agree, I think he’s probably great at the whiteboard and talking about it, but it is not translating to actual play on the field.
  20. This was the first time I’ve seen him play. Very impressive guy. Does he play well within structure as well? You can’t live on out of structure play in the NFL.
  21. I don’t think Bryce can thrive in any system. He might be less bad in the 9ers system, but at the end of the day he wouldn’t make anyone around him better.
  22. I watched part of that game (very small sample size), and he made a bunch of throws Bryce could only dream of. He would threaten the whole field every snap. We have no idea if he will pan out or not, but he looks to have everything you look for in a QB. Sitting for two years in GB looks to really have benefited him. We should not hesitate to go after him hard.
