  1. Couldn’t disagree more, reaching for a position even when it is not BPA is a Panthers thing to do. Taking BPA would be very refreshing and the right thing to do.
  2. We need to go BPA, and I don’t expect that to be a WR double dip. It might not be a WR at all tbh.
  3. That exactly where I was at as well. Now I’m hesitant. But it is ok to start taking chances in the 4th and 5th round, so that’s where I would still consider him. Canales strikes me as someone who could be a good fit for Sweat, but that’s just a feeling I have, and I obviously don’t know that as a fact.
  4. I think those teams would be a great fit for him. He would be option 3ish, plays designed for him etc. So for those teams he could be a high pick. For us I don’t see him being a fit until the 3rd round, but by then he’ll probably be gone.
  5. I agree, super likable guy, exciting to watch, but still raw despite being older. Wouldn’t take him in round 2, but would consider in round 3 if he’s there because the Panthers need day 1 starters with the two 2nd rounders. And he’s not a day 1 starter.
  6. This one is unrealistic but fantastic:
  7. He was pretty bad a deep throws in college, so it was not a surprise that carried over to the NFL.
  8. Did you call that there would be a misleading title on the huddle?
  9. I don’t mind Wiggins at 33, trading back from 39 and missing out on another starter on the other hand…
  10. That is concerning. He was my #1 guy, but that is a rough injury history
  11. I don’t get the obsession in trading back, moving out if a potentially great player at 33 and 39, and net a fourth rounder or similar. It makes 0% sense. Only way I would move back is if someone lost their mind and offered us a ridiculous return, I have no interest in the value chart. We need quality, not quantity. It was one of the many reasons Fitt was terrible.
  12. Agree with you on the BPA. I know Philips at CB is someone Brugler was tweeting about the other day, and I trust his opinion, so that’s why I went with him. Not a fan of some of the other CBs projected in rounds 2-3. Would love Wiggins to fall and take him at 33, but I don’t think that will happen.
  13. We should be able to get another really good player this year, as long as the lottery doesn’t mess anything up. What are your favorite players? I don’t know that much about him, but the SG from Kentucky looks like a ridiculous shooter. +50% from the 3pt line!
  14. This is probably my dream scenario. I would go for any of the big three Cs with the first pick, Barton just happened to be there:
  15. Great write up, I would be with be super happy with your picks at 33 and 39.
  16. This is a really interesting guy as well. Should be a lot of good non WRs available at 33 and 39
  17. Snyder started out by spending tons of money on big name has beens. Very different imo.
  18. The thing is that he didn’t play his senior season in HS, sat his FR year in college and only started two seasons. He is wasaaaasy further along that the other QBs were at the same point in their career (maybe outside of Caleb). They are comparing him to older players that started 5-6 years in college. I don’t get it to be honest. Old QBs do not have a good history in the draft
