Oh my gosh, can the negative nancies retire for the season? Some of us enjoy hoping for a playoff run when our team has a winning record. Seriously.

Rhule blames the D when asked about offensive struggles
Jaxel replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's not wrong though, he has invested HEAVILY in the D. So they should be getting it done.- 159 replies

If somehow Malik Willis falls, he's the only one I'd take.

I still don't think this impacts a Jackson extension.

Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks believes we'll be fine
Jaxel replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel good about the team. I think with our schedule we can make it to the playoffs, but I think the push for greatness is next year. You need one more linebacker and just one more solid O-lineman ( I think Christensen will be a solid starter by next year ) and we will be rolling. -
They won't be a gimme, but on the flip side, I think our D will be very very motivated to undo the narrative if the last game.

I bet one or both is getting a lot more playing time after the bye week.

I think these are valid points from op. I also think Darnold is exceeding everyone expectations. Even yesterday as bad as that third quarter was, Darnold still looked like took another step away from the filth and stink that the Jets left on him. In years past, that a 4 int. 50% completion game. The fact that Darnold was able to reset in the fourth, even more so after that wide open miss to Anderson and put us back in that game is progress and promising. I for one think there is still a lot of growth to be seen in Darnold, and he won't be missing those deep shots as much as the year goes forward.

How much of our run blocking woes are on coaching and scheme?
Jaxel replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Cam Newton masked a lot of our running block issues during most of his seasons, because he was so big and often led our team in rushing. I think we are really have to rebuild from that now and it takes time. I think we can all admit that the Line has not been the first priority of this rebuild to this point. I do think think it will be the emphasis next year. -
I live right outside of Dallas, local radio beat reporters are saying the Randy Gregory thing is non-issue and he will play.

Looks like a winner.

I'd be confident too if I so thoroughly whooped my rival in all aspects of the competitive sport I was playing. This will be a tough game, but I hope coming off a such a huge high with short turn around the boys have trouble matching that intensity.

You don't necessarily love watching the sport, to enjoy playing it. For example, I don't watch or follow baseball, but I love playing in amateur leagues... Just my opinion.

What does the Henderson trade mean for Donte and Jaycee?
Jaxel replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
It means Rhule badly wants that generational defense to win with. I like it. -
I imagine they will trade out of the first regardless.

What the heck is a GEQBUS?

We are about to make that graphic 6-1.

3rd round rookie sees more pressure than he can handle, Panthers play to shut the run game down. 24-3 final.
-
128 yards of total offense for the Saints, definitely didn't expect that.
-
On the flip side, I don't think the compensation was bad at all, if he hits your got a steal, sometime you got to make risks to real rewards. I think this qualifies as a measured risk.
-
Completely respect that and I don't think your a Sam hater at all, I think I. Just more optimistic about the situation.
-
100% with you. I was a big fan of Sam and wanted us to trade for him before he became available so we obviously approach it from two different points of view. Regardless we are both in a wait and see pattern and I'll gladly admit being wrong if things go south.

I think this is likely to change as the year goes on and is of no significant concern. Many of the routes out side of the first read are 5 to 10 yards down the field in Brady's system. I guess we will see.
