  1. It's simple... If they compliment us we love them, if they fail to rave about our awesomeness, we hate them!
  2. No risk! Doesn't count towards the Cap and you never know who's the next Coker. Or Thielen!
  3. Give the devil his due! He also appears (at least) to be letting the staff do their job. DMo. in 1 of his interviews. even balked at the idea that Tepper was a meddler. Once you have that reputation, it's hard to be rid of it, but I hope Tep has learned his lesson.
  4. I have center 1 as one of my pre-season battles to watch. Corbett is not guaranteed the job. It's a lot more relevant than WR6 or secondary depth (I still think that we're not done here. I expect a S and CB to be added before week 1).
  5. I think he vast majority of us fans are very excited about Bryce's play down the stretch. I also think that the biggest question, based on the small sample size, is whether he can replicate it or, better yet, continue his upward trajectory. I sure as hell hope so, and honestly, believe he will. If so, sky's the limit for this young man!
  6. "Purdy may be a product of the system and surrounding talent, but he’s still led one of the NFL’s most efficient offenses over the past three seasons." Kinda hard to argue with this justification, even though I would NEVER pick him over Bryce.
  7. That just means that we're due, right!!! right???
  8. Unfortunately, this is my current take on him as well. It's a blueprint that is hard to maintain without some damn good roster manipulation and drafting. We all know that Bryce's next contract is looming whether he is THE guy or just A guy.
  9. Exactly! The main difference is that Caleb stepped into a better situation. DJ was a proven WR, & they got a legit LT with our 2023 pick. Bryce had jackshit and frikin Reich (a proven loser) as HC! Poor bastard didn't stand a chance! THIS is his prove it season.
  10. We've done the same for Bryce. Overhauled the interior O-line via FA, hired a "QB Whisperer" as HC, spent 2 1st rd picks on WR, a 2 & 4 rd pick on RB, and drafted 2 TE's. It's up to him now! FWIW, I think he's a franchise QB.
  11. Didn't realize that the PGA tour was trolling other professional leagues. I'm not sure that makes it better or worse, but still bad timing to hit that close to home. Our shitty record won't be changing for the next 4 months!
  12. A JAG that has been surrounded by a very talented team his whole career!
  13. If it were a random posting this, I'd agree, But The official PGA account... low class, IMO. Mainly, I just wish it weren't so true.
  14. I agree 100% with this part! Hence my optimism for keeping Morgan, Canales, and Bryce together for another year...at least we're moving TOWARDS a shared vision instead of scrapping it and starting over.
  15. This is what happens to any team that is constantly replacing GM's. coaches, & QB's! We're not that unique, we're just the idiot team going through this crap right now. I have confidence that we may have found all 3 currently and are moving forward with building a competitive team.
  16. If we go 5-1 in the NFCS, we win the division!
  17. yeah, but I like that week 14 bye before 3 division games in 4 weeks. By then everyone is a little dinged up.
  18. IDK, the NFL will want to showcase Cam Wards debut. But I've also seen rumors that the Titans will open against Denver, not NO.
  19. The most telling sign, IMO, of a team on the upward swing is who we lost in the off-season. Who left that even saw the field? Woods, Clowney, Sanders, & Hekker. OK...no big deal. Clowney is the only 1 that I raised an eyebrow over and I get that it was a money decision. No need to pay him over $7M to take snaps from our draft picks when he was just OK last year.
  20. I'm actually a fan of drafting a RB in the 4th. I'm not schooled enough on day 3 RB's to argue whether there was a better option available, but I like what I've seen about Etienne so far. I think he beats out Blackshear for RB3, but is mainly a safety net for 2026. Chuba is locked in long term on his hard-earned big boy contract. Dowdle is coming off a 1,000 yard season and will be looking to prove it wasn't a fluke. It it was, he's a RB2 somewhere (maybe here??). It it wasn't a fluke, he'll get a big-boy contract elsewhere. Brookes... Who TF knows?!?! Even if he does come back, he's 2 years removed from play time. Etienne and he can fight for RB2, the other defaults to RB3. Both will be playing on cheap rookie contracts. Blackshear is meh.
