Agree 100%. Another thing that is getting on my nerves is the whole "shell shocked" excuse. Sure, Bryce got sacked a lot last year. I watched every game (Yes, I enjoy pain I guess). I don't recall a single hit where he truly got blasted. He was not Carr'd. Carr was getting obliterated on some of his sacks. Carr was around when the defense was still allowed to tee off on a QB. Bryce hasn't earned that excuse IMO.

Why would they bother trying to get open for a scramble drill. They were probably open before he even left the pocket. Either way, they knew he wasn't going to throw them a catchable pass anyway.

Personally, I don't believe it matters one bit how Bryce getting benched went down. It needed to happen for the team. I also don't care if he's pissed, sad, shocked or whatever other feels he might be having. I'm just excited at the possibility of seeing the semblance of a functioning NFL offense from this team come Sunday. I'm excited that maybe our defense won't be pure garbage solely because they've spent 80% of the game on the field

I agree this team as a whole has a lot of problems. Benching Bryce does not make us playoff contenders. Hopefully, Andy improves our QB play to the point where the talent, or lack thereof, can actually be assessed. I don't believe our defense is great either, but what do they look like when they're not on the field for 75% of the game.

This defense has arguably been in the top five this year, and you want to change it? Evero needs to stay as HC or DC, add a solid nose tackle (plus another solid LB to go with Luvu), get rid of Burns and watch this Defense cook, in the top 3.

Burns has always been a one trick pony. Spin move. Even when he gets to the QB, it's 50/50 whether or not he actually gets a sack. He has never been the game changer that a 30+ million dollar deal warrants.

Happy for Bryce. Saw some fire and he looked like he was loose and having fun. Hoping we see a lot more of this.
