  1. Is Buffalo just this bad or are we actually finding a groove?
  2. I wouldn’t have even called that a kick but they were so far offsides you could have fit a building in that gap.
  3. That’s weird considering Smith can play forward in a pinch. I figured we’d move smith to 4th line and have Bear with Slavin.
  4. Wait what? Svech is out with an upper body? God damn we got hit by the injury bug all at once. I’m guessing we are fielding 7 defense and Smith will probably be going as a forward? If not we will be a man down on the roster no matter what.
  5. I think Baldwin is expecting charges.
  6. Bear is warming up, Rod said if good he’ll play. If it was me. Slavin - Bear Skjei - Smith(ya I know offside but seems like the best spot, Skjei is due for a good game) Cole - Lajoie
  7. I don’t get how this could have even been an issue. Was Baldwin never trained to hold guns? Ever? Literally even with BB’s or what not when I’m handed any gun I check it or confirm with whoever gave it, loaded it to me with what it’s status is. It’s literally second nature. My biggest “WTF” moment was the fact he claimed he never pulled the trigger. The only explanation to me is like I said when it happened if it was a very old antique gun, anything else he would have had to pressure the trigger. I feel like as a prosecutor they could run with that comment too, even with the amount of money going against them. If they can prove he pulled the trigger, it would be over now that he said he didn’t.
  8. If they’d take him I’d gladly take a 4th or 5th to get rid of Robbies contract. DJ, Nah.
  9. I’m guessing they are all vaccinated too, and probably not even experiencing symptoms?
  10. Thanks to all y’all keeping up threads too. I completely forgot we were playing tonight, had my dates all mixed up. I love Rod I think he’s a great coach. But dude. Go back to the lineups that won us 9 games in a row, except maybe keeping KK centering a line. He’s a whole lot better in the middle. It feels like Rod is just slinging poo at the wall at this point, but the wall just keep slinging it back. The other Caveat is I like putting Svech on the KK line but we’ll see if it can produce. With Stepan your gonna have 2-3 players on that line that are great at close play. Perhaps that’s what we need right now. I don't get what’s going on with Bear either. I know he’s caught some flak and has made some mistakes but nothing that has cost us a game. His play for the most part has been solid. I feel like Rod wants to keep the two rooks together but Bear is waaaaaaay better than Chatfield on average at this point. I’m not saying Chatfield has been bad either. He’s been decent, definitely gets confused and out of position especially in the neutral zone. Again not knocking him, obviously he’s only had 2-3 practices and 2 games up in the big leagues. Bear just is way more comfortable.
  11. Some people should simply not have aggressive prone dogs. Saw a video on Reddit the other day of a pitbull absolutely mauling another dog on the street with a dozen people trying to intervene. It was just horrible to watch. Nobody had any clue how to control the dog. Nobody punched the larger/aggressor dog directly on the lungs to quick release or choke it out. It had a hold of a retriever and would not let go everyone involved got torn up. The point being was the owners literally just stood there in shock and didn’t do anything. It was depressing and infuriating to watch. Because a perfectly fine animal was put into a situation it should not have been in. My lady just the other day was out for a run on some trails, she came across what she described as a short woman(so well under 5 feet) with two very large dogs and a pit bull who tried to charge her. The owner literally got bulled over and was dragged a good distance by the dogs and proceeding to try and make it my lady’s fault for being on a public trail. Luckily the dogs had no ill intent. But stories like these just infuriate me.
  12. Somehow this is legal. We need to starting doing this every line rush, even if the puck isn’t anywhere close to the goal. Home base slides are safe now apparently.
  13. We really need to stop trying to make Cylons.
  14. I mean the guy literally kicked Raanta’s leg. Doesn’t matter if he was pushed or not at that point. But the league didn’t like Rod mouthing off, they are just trying to bully him now on top of the fine because they know that’s how they get to the owner. I think it’s time for Tom to push back.
  15. Rod should double down and force the league to deal with this. Edit: they are calling his bluff. Fug them.
  16. I agree on major point. The big thing with our previous coaches is not being a perennial playoff team. Fox didn’t have that, nor did Rivera. But that’s how people like Peyton and Tomlin keep their job. Even if they stink for a season or two they get their squad back in playoff shape. Rhule hasn’t shown us he can do that or even make the first leap to get us in perennial position. We have to find someone that can make that first step AND make the next step.
  17. He got them a playoff birth however horrible it was for the first time in 5 years, for an NFC East team that’s pretty damn good.
  18. Apparently one of Washington’s goals was offsides too.
