Ugh. I don’t like that. I hope they got/get serious reps in practice. I get the why bother playing them in meaningless games and risk injury sentiment. But A) They are rookies and need the reps. B) It’s a clear fact without proper reps at game speed players are WAY WAY more sustainable to injury during the beginning of the season. Especially old boys like Paradis.

I guess my question is are we playing any rooks? Like our star corner?

Ya maybe Tom didn’t want to meet his price tag, but honestly if he’s staying in Raleigh he’s getting paid by a paper/network and it’s hard to believe they would pay him much cushier.

We should have been last. Madden world: we are mostly running 4th stringers on top outside of a very select few on the roster. Real world: we are are running fourth stringers outside of 4 players and everything is put on an untested coach. That's where we are at. I don’t see any reason to rank us differently.
