  1. Edwards is just one of those picks you can never forget.
  2. Yeah, I'd say at this point Ertz is probably one of those guys you'd be looking at based on who he used to be.
  3. I still don't really get the Lawrence hype, honestly. It's not that he's bad. It's just that to hear people talk, I was expecting a virtual football god. Whenever I watched him, I just didn't see it.
  4. To be fair, it looks like a one on one drill. Can't choose not to throw in a drill.
  5. One of our front office guys (Dom Anile, I think) basically promised Holliday we'd draft him and then gave a lame, stupid sounding excuse why we didn't afterward.
  6. There was a guy named Mitch Marrow in the early days that I'm not sure ever even practiced.
  7. Realistically though, if he hasn't learned basic skills by now, is he going to?
  8. Heck, Atiyyah Ellison was a third rounder who didn't even make the roster. A lot of people probably don't even remember his name because he was here for such a short time.
  9. His problems were always more mental than physical.
  10. I was told we didn't work on that sort of thing
  11. I was told we didn't work on that sort of thing
  12. Not under my skin. I just have a tendency to call out stupid when I see it. Mods probably wish I did less of that, but hey
  13. Scuffles don't honestly bother me that much, but Rhule is kind of a hardass. And it is fair to point out that losing your cool in game situations can cost you. Remember that playoff game against San Francisco a few years back.
  14. Yeah That's one of the hardest things about football. If you went just by ability, there are probably guys who were better than the players that beat them out, but they just couldn't take the wear and tear. Durability is a really difficult thing to measure. Just ask Dan Morgan.
  15. Even accepting that premise, it doesn't really preclude him from being genuinely stupid, though. Hell, putting that much effort into annoying people doesn't exactly speak of having an especially good life offline.
  16. I don't think they still want him, but they don't want to be seen as losing the fight either. If they accept less than a premium deal, they come out looking like the losers. I'll grant that it might be the wise thing to do, but people with big egos don't always do the wise thing.
  17. Oh sure. Everybody's lying, but they can't fool you, now can they?
  18. It's frequently up for debate whether somebody is just trolling or they're legitimately that stupid. Given the Chuck all too often winds up descending into furious rants that get him banned, I'm inclined to believe he probably really is that dumb.
