  1. The most important thing about the draft is of course how it affects The Huddle
  2. Could be. Haven't seen anything else on it either way...
  3. I might pay $20,000 just to hear him shut up
  4. Understood I don't have strong feelings about it one way or the other. I just didn't know we were using it.
  5. You reminded me of this... When he's talking about how some other coaches "just want want want", you can see a small grin form on his face and hear a little chuckle in his voice. The reporters know who he's talking about, and he knows that they know who he's talking about. It's a very "inside joke" type moment.
  6. The NFL no longer administers this test at the Combine. But apparently some teams do, and one of them is us.
  7. I might do that the next time I have an extra $20,000 or so lying around
  8. A lot of us probably would... ...and we'd likely screw it up just as badly as Tepper (or even worse)
  9. Could have used the Jim Mora "You think you know, but you don't know" clip there.
  10. It's called reading. You should try it Teams are pretty much always very loose with information after the draft. And hell, why shouldn't they be? It's done. Smokescreens and all the other bullsh-t don't matter after the picks have been made.
  11. Eeehhh, no. We don't actually know that at all.
  12. Shortly after that year's draft, Lynch told Albert Breer about how he and Shanahan had made an agreement between them to not make a final choice up to a certain time. When the day came, Shanahan went up to Lynch and said something along the lines of "So are you ready to draft Trey?" Lynch's response was "Are you f--king with me?" because he'd come to the same conclusion. Let's just say I believe Albert Breer both has better contacts and is far less full of bullsh-t than you so yeah, I believe him
  13. I wouldn't bet on us ever getting it but I would love to get a long, thorough look behind the scenes of Rhule's tenure. Gotta believe there's some wild stories to be told
  14. They've already done that with Theilin and Chark.
  15. I would like to believe there's at least a little less chance of that with Matt Rhule gone.
  16. Off topic: So this happened... Oh yeah, the media never gave Aaron a fair shake
  17. Hell, some have already declared their intentions to do so If the team doesn't pick their guy. Whenever I see that...
  18. What's happening with Lance now is one of the reasons why I strongly dislike the idea of taking a guy based on his athleticism rather than his actual quarterback skills.
