  1. If we signed him to the regular roster, yeah.
  2. Since a couple of people have mentioned him, Jacob Eason is currently on the 49ers practice squad. He could be brought back, but he'd need to be signed to the active roster in order to do so.
  3. Darnold actually looked like a very capable quarterback last year... ...for about three games.
  4. I read this thread title in The Rock's voice.
  5. One of the things I liked about Hackett was him having the connections to build a good staff. Instead, it was like he deliberately tried to find the most inexperienced guys he could.
  6. Man, has the perception of Russell Wilson changed since that trade. Denver made one big change for yesterday. Nathaniel Hackett is no longer calling the plays. He gave that duty to quarterback coach Klint Kubiak.
  7. Which is funny because usually you'd be saying that about an Alabama quarterback. The worry people have about overrating Ohio State quarterbacks playing on rosters that easily steamroll their opponents tends to be a valid one though. The article I posted by TJ McCreight made an interesting point, that he gave higher marks to quarterbacks at lesser schools because they weren't buoyed so much by the talent around them. I've given that some thought since reading it, and there's an argument to be made. That sad, I'm still iffy on the main subject of that article (Will Levis).
  8. Looks like Darnold is leading the poll.
  9. Yeah, he definitely does. His frame scares me though. For the last few years it's been the same thing for me. I want to see us draft a quarterback but every major prospect has something about them that scares me off. Apparently I have a condition called "draftabustophobia"
  10. Just waiting for Boger to be named head of officiating...
  11. High ankle sprain, if I remember correctly. That generally takes a while to heal.
  12. Wouldn't count on that. I've seen the "take a super athlete and teach him to be a passer" strategy fail as often as it's succeeded, probably more so to be honest. I know our buddy Ellis believes in that idea but for me, if they don't have the passing skills already I don't care how athletic they are. I'm not interested.
  13. Thought I had the game total at 68 but messed it up somewhere. Had a family emergency today so my brain is a little fried
  14. Not afraid of being wrong. It happens. Genuinely undecided. In the case of most of the major prospects, I can more easily think of reasons not to want them.
  15. Walmart commercial with Lawrence from Office Space
  16. 2019: 5 wins / 16 games 2020: 5 wins / 16 games 2021: 5 wins / 17 games 2022 (so far): 3 wins / 11 games 60 total games,18 wins, 50 losses It's accurate
  17. I'd take Pollard in a heartbeat. Lady Cowboy Fan keeps telling me I can't have him
