  1. Good analysis. One thing that we heard a lot this offseason was that we needed to get more pass rushing help, and it's valid. Teams can focus pretty heavily on Burns because nobody else is much of a threat. I'm not sure letting go of Burns puts us in a better position if we have to not only replace him but then still turn around and try and get someone to help his replacement. (and I say all this is a Burns skeptic)
  2. Cortal is a real enigma right now. Yes he looked bad, but so did a lot of people under Matt Rhule. And it's a small sample size either way. I don't feel like we know enough about him to either abandon him or depend on him.
  3. Heck, we could end up with a coach that wants to run a 3-4. I haven't typically been that big a fan of Burns because I feel like he's a scheme mismatch. With that said, the market determines what someone is worth, and the market in this case said Burns was worth two firsts and a second. So yeah, that means that at least the market thinks he's worth a big contract.
  4. I'm sure you will. It seems to be about all you've got. Well, that plus refuting any point anyone makes with "no it's not because I say so" as if that actually means something. That's been your thing anytime I've answered your question, and frankly it's kinda boring. Your opinion means a lot more to you than it does to others, but I'm not sure you get that.
  5. Just keep saying it enough. You know how that works
  6. Uh...yeah I'm obviously not a Tepper fan, but at least he's sober.
  7. Funny thing is Pasqualoni ended up finishing a trend. Every DL Coach hired under Rhule has been fired after one season. Rhule didn't have a chance to fire Pasqualoni though since he was fired himself first. Guess Steve Wilks did it for him.
  8. Saturday's experience "calling plays"...
  9. Tony Dungy's been all over that.
  10. Dude, give it up You've already pretty much lost any credibility you might have had (not that there was much to begin with). Nobody's taking you seriously right now, and continuing this silliness isn't gonna make it any better. Also for the record, I didn't predict anything with Wilks. Wished him the best and said I was cheering for him, but promised nothing. That'd be unlike a certain someone who promised success with Matt Rhule
  11. Ironic, as my next question would be when are you going to let this stuff go? You spent months trying to tell anybody who would listen (nobody did) that Matt Rhule could take us to the playoffs and we all needed to get behind him. How did that work out? He's been fired for a couple of weeks now, yet you're still carrying water for him on here by trying to blame his failures on other people. Good grief, man. Let it go. Rhule was terrible. Just accept that and move on.
  12. To be clear, nobody on the entire Colts staff has ever called plays before, Saturday included.
  13. You don't know how the draft works, dude. For Fletcher to be even be in the conversation required that somebody put him there. Rhule was the guy who did that.
  14. How many times did we say there was no way the Saints could fix their cap and be good again next year? It's just a matter of how smart you are.
  15. The guy who attached his name to a lawsuit about being told to tank is not going to be on board with tanking.
  16. People have asked before, and I've answered, but I'll repeat: To my knowledge, no interim head coach has ever been fired midseason. I'm starting to wonder if Wilks might not be trying to become the first
