Yeah... neither of those guys are getting traded. Wouldn't bet on Burns either. Shaq maybe...

Jay Glazer claims Panthers asked him if Payton would come here
Mr. Scot replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
"Do you think Sean would be interested?" = gauging interest "Do you think we should hire Sean?" = asking for advice -
Our owner thought he was the smartest guy in the room.
-
For just a first... And I actually already started my thought with my first post in this thread. Hated not getting a first, but the overall return isn't bad at all.
-
Welcome aboard.

I would add that the way more interesting part of this discussion is what he said about the kind of head coach the Panthers are looking for. -

Yep. Payton is part of the Fox pregame show. Also to be clear, this wasn't "asking Glazer for advice". It was calling him for an opinion on Payton's level of interest. Glazer volunteered his advice. -
I don't think it's an accident that he's joining Shanahan.
-
This increases my belief that McCaffrey wanted the trade.
-
Don't doubt for a second that this played a part in the decision process...
-
Seriously doubt that.

That structure was put in place before Fitterer got here. It was most likely one of Rhule's conditions for taking the job. Tepper was stupid to agree to it.
-
I wouldn't fire him, especially not over this. This is a good trade.
-
The last sentence is valid.
-
That, I remember...
-
That's likely gonna turn out to be one of the very few things he did right.
-
Burns is probably going to be traded right?
Mr. Scot replied to firefox1234's topic in Carolina Panthers
I honestly see zero chance of that happening. -
Rhule said a lot of things. A good number of them turned out to be bullsh-t.
-
I wouldn't want to act like an unprofessional dick to one of my players.
-
Don't know how Fitterer felt. Person stated that Rhule directed all the quarterback moves with Fitterer "signing off" on them. He didn't have the power to say no, even if he wanted to.
-
While Sam is still on the team? Lord, no!
-
He'd be unemployed if he did that in public. He was free to do so in private though, and I'm sure he did.

Welp… Stroud is the guy, right?
Mr. Scot replied to TheMostInterestingMan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hard to judge who the draft picks might be till we know who the head coach is. -
Not sure who you're reading. I'm seeing loads of analysts from all over saying we robbed the Niners.

Might be attractive to a guy who grew up here
