McClover would make sense with regard to Burns, but what coach that's currently on staff would he have ties to? (he was here under Fox)
-
Quoting: "former NFL veteran of many years (not currently a Panther), who still has very close ties to the organization, and to a certain coach in particular" Boston is the first one that comes to mind, with the coach being Wilks. Could also be someone like AJ Klein, I suppose, though Boston would seem to make more sense.

The description of his source makes me think of Tre Boston.

Probably autocorrected Donte.

Holy sh-t Honestly, a rift between the NFL guys and the college guys wouldn't be at all surprising.

The coaching at the high school and college levels isn't what it used to be either. Other problem is some guys like to go for the big "highlight reel" hits to get them on Sportscenter. As often as not, it results in a sloppy attempt at a tackle. -

That "fluke" happened to us over and over last season. -

Does 0-2 put Rhule’s seat red hot?

If we lose and he comes out after the game with "Well our rushing offense would have been ranked in the top ten based on that performance" or some such, he should be fired on the spot -

For the most part last week it was a McAdoo / Baker offense that occasionally included CMC. -

r Brian Daboll's offense vs Phil Snow's defense is a matchup that scares me...a lot -

As tthe game, I'm comfortable with the notion that Mayfield should look better this game. Far less comfortable that we'll see improvement from the defense. -

Cleared your cache? -
Don't doubt that. He's not very good when it comes to football though. My biggest issue with Tepper is basically the same one I had with Richardson. He trusts the wrong people. He trusted Ron, he trusted Marty, then he trusted Rhule. Until he trusts someone who's actually earned trust, I expect things to continue as they are.

Ouch

My Dad could have been called one of those, though the more correct term probably would have been "didn't give a sh-t" voters. He just went into the voting booth and punched a straight ticket every single time. Funny thing was my sister would go in and do the same for the opposite party so I guess they canceled each other out
-
Yeah, said elsewhere and if he has many more games like that first week, that star is gonna fade real quick. This is a big reason why I don't like hiring guys too early in their careers.
-
Oh, there are definitely NFL owners who don't seem to give a sh-t. I wouldn't put Tepper in that category. He does, sadly, still seem to be in the category of "owners that have no clue what they're doing".

Would you be pleased if we hired Byron Leftwich??

Brady wasn't ready to be an OC. He's on a much better path now. Rhule isn't qualified to be an NFL head coach either.
