Does anyone else think we could win the South?
Mr. Scot replied to Stuart Smith's topic in Carolina Panthers
Win the division? Kinda doubt it. Not come in last? Maybe. -
Because there's been a whole big sh-tstorm about it. She certainly didn't make it up. Any suggestion of that would actually be pretty dumb. She did, however, take something that was meant to be private and make it public. That's the reason for the backlash.

I can.... specifically if the team told him they didn't want that kind of thing out there.
-
Man, Kenny Robinson is just getting yo-yoed.
-
This guy's... different
-
Not technically NFL, but... What could go wrong?

Ouch... Puts the Titans in the market for a pass rusher (same as us) Also... I know a few folks here were hoping we'd take a look at Howard.

I'd agree the Mayfield trade is going to be a pretty significant measure of things. To be honest though, we barely gave up anything in that transaction. Hell, we're not even paying the majority of his salary. Knowing that, is a good season enough to call it a success or do we have to have something more?

Some years back, I was part of a youth thing where we'd always finish up with a tackle football game between the fathers and the sons. We referred to it as "parents revenge", but depending on the size of the kid that wasn't always an accurate description

I'm honestly not sure how I'd feel as a parent about my kid getting clocked by grown men in mascot costumes

Talk to the guy who wrote the tweet. It wasn't my issue. It was his. I just posted it here. Do you disagree with what he wrote? Yes or no?

It's $350 a person for some food and music while you watch players walk into the stadium. Reposting the original...

I'm on an Android. Have tried both Chrome and Opera (my default) and got the same result. Have thought about downloading Firefox and trying that but haven't yet.
-
iPhone or Android? (and what browser?)

My first post was a quote of Roaring Riot's tweet, followed by my asking if anyone had taken part in this particular thing before mentioning that I saw some people complain about it online and acknowledging that free to $350 was a pretty steep price increase. So since I didn't really say all that much about it myself, I guess what I can take from your post is that Roaring Riot was "creating a false narrative" and "acting in bad faith" by saying what he did. Of course, given that you already said he was "using this story as a marketing opportunity", I probably shouldn't be surprised that you'd think that way.

Side Note I had no idea this was a thing...
-
Well, this is a new one...
-
I made it all up? Wow I guess I must have made up the angry tweets from Roaring Riot and others too. My skills at hacking Twitter accounts must be better than even I knew about Seriously, I thought your last response was dumb. This one takes the cake

I recognize the name. Jackson wrote some super critical stuff about Mayfield on his way out of Cleveland. The gist of the article is that Jackson thinks the "f--k them up" comments are absolutely something "the old Baker Mayfield" would say, but he believes there's a new Baker Mayfield who's been humbled by being kicked out of Cleveland. Yeah...not so sure I buy that. To his credit, he does at least seem to believe that Mayfield will be the same guy on the field that he's always been. He's just not real clear on whether that's a good thing or not. (he certainly didn't consider a good thing when he was with the Browns) In any case, my current read is still that Mayfield is doing damage control because the team doesn't like having this sort of thing get out. A lot of us don't give a sh-t. A good number of us think it's great. But from a team perspective, I can kind of understand (even if I don't agree with it).
