If we were running a 3-4, I'd be all in. A 4-3 though? Not so sure.
-
Wat would it say if he succeeds there though?
-
Didn't exactly take him long to get hired either.
-
That's not even half the story. Henning recognized that the Patriots had something, so over the halftime break he came up with an entirely different gameplan. And the results reflected it. Seriously doubt Chudzinski could have done that.

I remember when the Steelers had Russ Grimm as their line coach. Now it's Pat Meyer? Yikes

Everyone wants Rhule gone but, what if
Mr. Scot replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not a matter of Matt Rhule "coming to his senses". When you're not qualified for a job, you can't suddenly become qualified. -
Name something specific that would get you pumped for this season

Numerology guy back? -
How short a leash will Rhule have next season?
Mr. Scot replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't know that he's on a shortly at all, at least not starting out. If we start losing early, then it might kick in. -
Might not, but it happens sometimes. Heck, Rhule kept a couple.
-
There are guys I'd like to keep even if Rhule is fired (Campen, for one).

I expect the most common answer will be Matt Rhule getting replaced by a competent coach. Second most would probably be David Tepper selling the team. -
Can we judge him for Ian Thomas when Matt Rhule insisted on keeping him? Also have to wonder how keeping Dan Arnold would have affected our view of tight end performance.

Another lateral move...

Final list...

Is the NFL priming us to have new minority owners?
Mr. Scot replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Richardson wasn't exactly forced, but as time went on he got grumpy about the process and started saying stuff like "I don't have to sell this team of I don't want to". The NFL's response was along the lines of "no take backs". -
Cignetti is a guy I'd looked at as a potential addition.
-
FYI: TE Coach Brian Angelichio has left to pursue "other opportunities". (the fourth assistant coach to do so). Kevin Gilbride Jr is his replacement.
-
Del Rio over Vic Fangio?
-
I wouldn't say I'm against it. I am kinda surprised by it. Starting to wonder if Adam Henry is a world class a--hole or something. I doubt anyone would disagree that the Cowboys receivers were well coached under him, but nobody seems to want him (the Cowboys included).
-
Much as I love Proehl, our best receiver coach was Richard Williamson. I'd take Mike Trgovac over Eric Washington too. Brad Seely is likely the top special teams coach. Some would say Scott O'Brien but everyone who had to work with him hated him. OC is Dan Henning or Gil Haskell.

I'm married to one.
