  1. By that standard, Aaron Rodgers isn't a franchise quarterback. I've never bought into the idea that a guy has to be able to "do it by himself" to be called a franchise quarterback because in fifty years of watching football, I've never seen a guy who can do it by himself. It's always been a team sport (always will be) and having good players around them should never be used as an argument to diminish anyone's abilities.
  2. Can't help feeling that if we address the line via free agency, our top draft pick is gonna be a quarterback out of Pittsburgh. (and I do believe we're going to try and go that route)
  3. I get it, but to be fair the social media team's job is to try and be positive. I can't blame them for that. Our team ownership and coaching being dog sh-t isn't their fault.
  4. Wonder if Rhule told him he'd never kick in the NFL again.
  5. I'll always wonder. Hate to say it, but it's pretty obvious he made the right decision.
  6. Not a clue... Quick tip, dude. These responses you think are clever... aren't. I could say a lot worse, but I'm being nice.
  7. What's there to respond to? Thinking that quoting a post count serves as a response is pretty stupid, not to mention creepy. Perhaps I should seek a restraining order.
  8. And you with the predictably creepy stalkerish posts again...
  9. I will... primarily because pretty much every prediction you make turns out to be wrong.
  10. Best breakdown of the Bengals special teams I've seen...
  11. I'm just gonna hope for a good game. Don't care who wins
  12. You remember correctly. As it turns out, Hurney and the Panthers were trying to move up to get Little much earlier in the draft. Speaking in an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio, Hurney talked about Little. He says they were trying to trade up to get him as early as the No. 21 overall pick in the first round. USA Today Panthers Wire
  13. In this year's quarterback class? Hell no. I had concerns about last year's class too. Didn't really want any of them, Lawrence included.
  14. Aaahhh, no. You suggested we didn't attempt to trade with anyone. That was proven wrong. Then you said, "oh the rumor was that we tried to trade back into the first round". No it wasn't. The story was that we attempted to trade up to get Clausen, which we did. And unlike your characterization of it being just a few spots, it would have been a pretty significant jump. As to whether people suggested we tried to trade next year's first rounder? Nobody knows for certain what was offered other than that the Rams asked for more than we were willing to give up. Could it have included next year's first? Given that Marty had already done that twice, yes it's possible. I get that you're trying to spend this so that you can still say you were right. You weren't, and youve neither proven nor "debunked" anything.
  15. The Rams had the 33rd pick. We had the 48th. In no world is that "a few spots". Heck, it's almost half a round.
  16. I'd say that's a real possibility. (and will make me sad because that could have been us)
  17. Based on what I saw of him, I wouldn't characterize Corral as bad or anything of the sort. He didn't strike me as anything special, though.
  18. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Panthers were the only team to call St. Louis Thursday night to trade up. They didn’t have the ammo, but they still got their quarterback. Profootballtalk : Panthers take Jimmy Clausen off the board
  19. Don't see that as too likely. But even if it happens, no I won't be "back on board". Rhule is in over his head and a real NFL coach is needed.
