As to hiring Rhule, yeah I'm pretty happy about that because it was a big factor in getting Marty fired. So there's that...

Arnold struck me as a really likeable guy so I'm sorry to see him go. It does however seem as though he wasn't quite as popular in the eyes of decision makers.

McCaffrey, Samuel and Moton were all drafted by Gettleman. And the 2020 draft was heavily influenced by Rhule. Marty's drafts were the 18 and 19 ones, which were pretty typical Hurney (good in the first, garbage later). Factor in also that Marty had Greg Little rated as a first rounder (Will Grier too).

A lot of what Seattle accomplished was built on the back of that dominant secondary. Wouldn't surprise me if we followed a similar blueprint.
