  1. To be clear, the structure we're most closely following is that of the Seahawks. And there's an argument to be made for it.
  2. Are you familiar with the Appaloosa Model?
  3. Wrong again. Rivera and company actually did play him at left tackle more than once. They just didn't leave him there. I 'd add that if your argument depends on the notion that Ron Rivera made good personnel decisions, you don't have much of an argument.
  4. Yeah, that's...not even close. Moton himself talked to SI and said that it was challenging because it was so different than what he was used to, but even then he said he was willing if that's what the team needed. Bottom Line: At no point did he express that he didn't want to do it. Nor did Rhule say anything like that.
  5. You said he didn't want to play on the left. You were shown to be wrong. It's pretty much that simple. And you'll have to pardon me if I don't take your comments about "the health of the community" seriously
  6. You've already been refuted. And no, I don't take it personally when you say something stupid. I just point it out as such.
  7. Seemed to be referencing that they spent time with their families.
  8. She's the most wonderful woman I've known, treats me better then anyone ever has and I have an immense amount of respect for her... Unfortunately, she's also put a Cowboys blanket on our bed
  9. The better question would be why people take fan speculation seriously when there's no actual evidence to back it up. Nowhere have I seen any credible evidence or comment that Moton doesn't want to play on the left. It's pretty much just been fan speculation which is basically meaningless.
  10. July / August is a crappy time to be moving furniture. That much I can assure you
  11. He was originally drafted at the time we were supposedly switching to a 3-4.
  12. Honestly, I think the Marshall comparison I've liked the most is to Muhsin Muhammad.
  13. At the beginning of Panthers Confidential, you see inside the Panther Draft Room when they're informed of the Lions picking (Penei Sewell). Scott Fitterer says to Matt Rhule, "So what's gonna happen is Sewell's gonna go, we'll be staring at Horn, and then it's gonna be what's worth us moving off of Horn." Later, right around five minutes in, the film rewinds to the day before the draft and you see the meeting where Matt Rhule lists "the cluster of guys we really love" in order with Scott Fitterer, Samir Suleman and David Tepper. They are... - Penei Sewell - Jaycee Horn - Patrick Surtain - Jaylen Waddle - Devonta Smith And finally, a little after that comes the part where they actually draft Jaycee Horn, which would strongly suggest he was the guy they wanted (and in fact they say so afterward). So ya know, there's that
  14. And I'll be watching with a hardcore Cowboys fan by my side
  15. I like having versatile guys along the line. With that said, I really want to see a starting lineup establish itself and gel before the season starts.
  16. Probably Gotta see what the lineup is first.
  17. You'd know a lot about getting proven wrong As was reported afterward, the Panthers were blowing smoke about Fields hoping that somebody would offer a significant trade package. No one did, so they took Horn. Bill Voth and Panthers Confidential both later confirmed that Fields was never in consideration.
  18. Given that he was available at eight and we didn't take him, I'd day that "report" smells like bullsh-t. The more reliable report was actually that the only quarterbacks we liked were Lawrence and Wilson.
