  1. We might have looked like we belong if only we would have won a playoff game with a stifling defensive performance, made it inothe top eight and been able to hang toe to toe with the prior year's world champs for around three quarters of a game, at least. Shame nothing like that happened, huh?
  2. Hadn't you heard? The salary cap is a myth!
  3. Honestly, when you look at who's against it, the idea starts looking better and better.
  4. Titans agreed to terms with Brian Orakpo. As I recall, he was a guy he Falcons had targeted.
  5. Pretty sure when the day comes that Hardy actually does sign somewhere else, this board will be a festival of silliness and stupidity not seen since...last year when Steve Smith was let go.
  6. Technically he is 'released'. They've made clear that the Exempt List does not prohibit him from signing a free agent contract. I'll grant not knowing how long he'll be suspended might put some teams off, but apparently not the Raiders.
  7. A mediocre whiner. It's funny. We frequently joke on here about stupid people thinking that jut because they win at Madden, they could actually run an NFL team. And yet as many times as that joke's been made, here you have a guy come right out and say it. Unbelievable
  8. Don Gregory and the scouting department. Hurney had no scouting experience that I can recall (would have to look it up to be sure)
  9. I remember that. Makes you wonder how different our record last year might have been with better special teams.
  10. That a lot of people in this thread apparently haven't listened to. (but clearly should)
  11. I've become convinced nobody here actually listens to anything team leadership says.
  12. Right. Everything worked in our favor despite the 'joke' GM. He's just lucky. Good Lord
  13. You really wanna appeal to defending Hurney (see, this is where you clearly show you've lost the argument) When was the first time that core of players helped the Panthers make the playoffs? Or, to put it another way, what GM built the roster on which they did?
  14. I admit that thought's crossed my mind too. I'm fairly confident we'll have a better, deeper roster than last year by the time the season rolls around. Having that better roster would (hopefully) minimize depth chart mistakes. And of course, the sad flipside is that what injury giveth, injury can taketh away
  15. Uh huh Face it, dude. We're in a way better spot than we have been in our team history since Gettleman took over. Whine and bitch to your heart's content if that's what makes you happy, but you're off base.
  16. Except we did, and did so on the strength of a late season run fueled by rookies drafted by what you called our "joke" of a GM.
  17. Didn't sound like it to me, but if you say you meant it differently than I read, I'll take your word for it.
