Former Panthers QB Cam Newton to be throwing at Auburn's Pro Day
Mr. Scot replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not just that. Newton has always seemed like a guy who sometimes just doesn't understand how he comes off. For example, how are you as a team going to feel about bringing a guy in as a backup who just publicly declared that he could well be better than the "muthaf--ka" you have starting? It's the same kinda thing you got when he was swearing about "just asking for a little commitment" from the Panthers. You don't have to be a cancer to be a distraction. -

Kinda poorly planned, if that's the case. The pro day is tomorrow. Announcing it the evening before would likely make it tricky for anybody who wasn't already planning on going to make arrangements to be there. -
Colin Cowherd says Panthers making a move for Aaron Rodgers
Mr. Scot replied to staffcurtis's topic in Carolina Panthers
No indication he did...not that it matters. There are no circumstances under which this would be a smart idea. -

Former Panthers QB Cam Newton to be throwing at Auburn's Pro Day

Honestly, over a full season there probably are. In backup or spot duty he could potentially be valuable somewhere. But as a full time starter? Those days are over. -
Colin Cowherd says Panthers making a move for Aaron Rodgers
Mr. Scot replied to staffcurtis's topic in Carolina Panthers
I haven't seen any evidence Cowherd actually said it. So either he didn't say it, which means it's bullsh-t. Or even if he did, given that Cowherd doesn't know jack, it's still bullsh-t. So bottom line, it's bullsh-t. -

Yeah, I took that as he's not signing right now rather than he's not signing at all. Other sources were saying the same thing.

He just likes trolling because his dumb ass doesn't know sh-t. He writes long, ridiculous paragraphs to cover that up. Breer's been pretty reliable when it comes to Panther news. He had the Matthew Stafford thing well before anyone else did.

That's why he's always quoting someone else (in this case, ESPN).

I mean, when you've got the #1 pick, you could send a video out to everyone in the league saying "You want this guy? Well, #@$& you! We're taking him!" Then drop your pants and moon everybody for good measure and nobody could do sh-t about it.
