  1. But we just hired his high school quarterback coach
  2. McCown coached Drake in high school. That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Just sayin'...
  3. I wouldn't. The idea of using a bridge QB to give a rookie time to learn isn't a bad one. It was just done poorly by Rhule. (like...well, everything)
  4. You mean "progress"? (some Rhule-related PTSD is still in there, I think)
  5. I know that Brown interview isn't scheduled till Thursday.
  6. That you think that ends the conversation tells me a lot about the limits of your football knowledge. Try taking a look back at how many guys who won the MVP also won the Super Bowl that year.
  7. That's been talked about, and it's very possible. Speculation is that hire could happen today.
  8. Halftime is snack and bathroom break time.
  9. Valid, but I'm not sure how much that's going to carry over. For what it's worth, I don't really expect Carr to end up with us, but it's possible.
  10. You don't know anything about what kind of scheme we're going to run or whether Jackson would fit it. You don't acknowledge anything about what his issues or limitations have been with his prior team. Honestly, I'm not sure you even care about those things. You just see a super athletic quarterback that reminds you of Newton and think "oh that's everything we need". In reality, you have no clue what you're talking about.
  11. Stop believing this goofy idea that if we just get this one magical unicorn of a quarterback we'll win everything no matter what we have to give up for him.
  12. I don't know what Carr wants, but if he's choosing between NFC South teams, those two are coached by former defensive coordinators while ours is coached by a quarterback.
  13. He could have said nothing or just been ambiguous.
  14. That only matters for pass interference, not defensive holding.
  15. Who the hell is standing next to Andy Reid in a black sequined suit?
