  1. I'm pretty sure you were in the conversation where it was mentioned, but you choose not to acknowledge it. And simply saying it's not true, doesn't invalidate it, even though you think it does.
  2. It was in a recent conversation here, but you'll just act like you don't believe it or you never saw it anyway so why bother?
  3. It's possible. Honestly, it's consistent with some of Tepper's own public statements. And yes, Tepper absolutely deserves whatever he gets.
  4. Unfairly, given he didn't want him. Steve Keim, meanwhile, suffers no consequences.
  5. Probably not. Still would have been a better choice than Rosen though.
  6. There's no actual indication that this is related to infidelity. In fact, there are no specifics at all.
  7. He had Mike McCoy, then fired him and promoted Byron Leftwich.
  8. There's nothing in that message that suggests cheating, or anything else specific. He's apologizing for something, but we don't know what.
  9. To be fair, it's not like anybody else has gotten anything out of Rosen either. He was just an arrogant prick. And to his credit, Wilks wanted Allen.
  10. I don't tend to have personal feelings about players, coaches, etc. I've said many times that being bad at your job isn't a reason to dislike somebody. This guy is a dick
  11. Sheena Quick gave it a shot. She pretty well eviscerates Rhule in this piece.
  12. Long way to go to live up to "Watson Watch, Day X" fame...
  13. Paton is the more direct guy on that front now.
  14. A little more than that... Threatening to shoot someone, especially as part of a domestic dispute, is a bit more than just throwing a shoe.
  15. Pretty much. And again, as others have said, narcissistic behavior. I think some of it is because he's sat on stuff in the past out of attempts to be fair. Obviously, the time for that has passed.
  16. Perhaps. But the presence of mental illness is how stories that start off with "officer so and so was there to serve a simple warrant" end with "and the suspect was pronounced dead on the scene". Police in a case like this are wise to show restraint and be extremely careful with their words.
  17. Does the average person shut themselves in a house for a misdemeanor? It's not so much the details of the situation as it is that Brown is unstable.
  18. That actually sounds like a police attempt at de-escalation. "See, There's this guy we're trying to arrest who's refusing to come out of his home. He hasn't technically threatened anybody but we can confirm there are guns inside." "But hey, it's not a standoff"
