Why I feel Wilks needs another season to win his job.
Mr. Scot replied to Snake's topic in Carolina Panthers
Valid, but I don't think he's that patient. -
That could conceivably lead to the Packers calling about Moore but I question whether they're prepared to make the kind of offer it would take to get him.

That's every interim coach. Sorry dude but he either gets the job or he doesn't. There's just no such thing as a second year interim coach. (granted there was a second year interim GM but that was because Richardson was trying to duck the Rooney Rule; no such thing applies here) -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

Gotta wonder if the Rams would pivot to pursuing Chubb if the Panthers are definitively saying no. -

The most action you're likely to see from the Panthers today... -
Not trade news but holy sh-t...

Well, that should make some Chicago fans happy.
-
Gesicki would be expensive. Do we value the tight end position enough to do that? (probably depends on the next head coach)

Technically Scott Turner also through Norv, plus Freddie Kitchens and Rob Chudzinski. (granted that doesn't necessarily lessen the "oof") I don't count McCoy because he fired him in Arizona, but you never know. -

This from Kunkel... So not necessarily just the Rams... -

No argument. The upside for Burns of course would be what he could become in the near future. -

I'd rank Burns as better than Quinn but yeah... -

Heck, Josh McDaniels might be available, but I don't know if there's any connection between he and Steve Wilks. -

Have we seen a hard source on the Eagles being after him though? I know there's been a lot of speculation but many of those same sources still think DJ Moore is up for grabs too. -

That also applies to the "next year's salary cap room" expectations. -
The in-division part strikes me as strange on both sides of the deal honestly.

I'm in favor of going the draft route. Granted, I'm not sure it mattered what route we went as long as Matt Rhule was in charge. -

Trade value is a lot like basic economics. A player is worth whatever somebody will pay for them. Granted, it helps sometimes if the person who's paying is dumb. -
Probably should have fired their DC, honestly. They have a guy on staff who's done the job before and wasn't bad at it.
