Smith: "Evan Cooper wasn't qualified to have a job"

If you're constantly yelling / screaming / negative / whatever, It loses its effectiveness because people tune you out. And that's everybody, not just "snowflakes". -

Yeah...that's holding -
Better than an overall 500 record, no back to back winning seasons, more losing seasons than winning ones, promotions being given for loyalty rather than good performance, damn near twenty seasons of Marty Hurney...I could go on.

Last week the Bengals sold out against the run trying to force PJ to pass. Won't be surprised if Atlanta does the same. -

Mark Davis has stated that he's not going to fire him this season. Could change I suppose, but...

Wilks said the short week factored into it I get that, but still... -
Better owner than Tepper I'd agree with (at least so far). "Pretty good" though? Can't sign on to that.

Smith also stated he has no desire to coach. -
So spoken by Smitty on the NFL Network Pre-Game show. From a comment made after Cooper was dismissed...

I've long had a suspicion regarding the specifics of the racism incident. Khary Darlington was a member of the Panthers scouting department, and a guy whose name was on the rise. He was reported to be one of the people who most went to bat for drafting Cam Newton in 2011, among other things. And then one day, he just disappeared. No news announcement, no word of his being fired, nothing about him taking another job, nada. Almost like the scenario you'd expect to see from someone who signed a non-disclosure agreement for a huge payday and then retired

I'll check it out. Just off the top of my head, I'd imagine he could potentially pull from his former staff with the Colts or maybe even reach back to some of his prior connections with Doug Pederson's staff in Philly. One thing I feel pretty comfortable saying: He's probably not gonna reach out to Jeff Saturday about calling plays

Kinda like when Jerry Richardson thought the league would back him up with his "internal investigation" thing. Difference being Snyder tried to intimidate them into it. Both moves turned out about the same. If I recall correctly, he actually did destroy the Spygate evidence.
