    A lot of athletes think they're untouchable. (unfortunate choice of words here, I know) They've grown up being catered to, shielded from consequences and treated like gods because they can play a game. It leaves a great many of them believing that the rules of society only apply to other people. Hence, why they pull stupid sh-t like this...

    Richardson was trying to keep Marty as "interim" GM so that he didn't have to interview anyone else. The Fritz Pollard Alliance called bullsh-t, so we went overboard and interviewed three guys. That was such a farce.

    Speaking from the perspective of a quarterback looking for a new team, I'd much rather go to a team that's already starting over than sign with an organization where the head coach is likely getting fired next year.

    Of the teams that have need for a quarterback right now, I can't think of one who's in a worse position than us. Some of the ones who potentially could have been already fired their bad coaches.

    I went several years just enjoying the game of football without having a favorite team. It wouldn't be hard to do that again. Hell, it's actually less stressful.
