Be Brian Daboll. Get down to the Panthers 17-7 in the 4th relying on Daniel Jones. Figure out in the 4th that the 32nd ranked rushing defense is exploitable.

Agreed. You have to be smart when it comes to making those decisions. But, we also WANT Bryce to keep getting better because in that scenario we can get more compensation for moving him. That's where I don't get the obsessions with rooting against him. That's literally a lose-lose.

I think he has a little more ceiling than this. Likely tops out at average level NFL starter, however. I don't think it matters too much. If he is around averagish or a little worse, we can still build a team through the draft and FA. I just don't want to see us invest in a second Bryce contract in that scenario.

It's strange that while he has been playing in the upper half of all tackles in the NFL that people are wanting to get rid of him. I generally just don't think people have any idea what they are looking at. And I am not saying he likely wouldn't be a better guard but the flak he gets is pretty wild. Last year it was completely understandable. This year it is just odd.

I mean, BC is getting beat pretty regularly if you watch, so I don't think Ikey being back would be worse. Minus his problem with penalties. Plus, Ikey is literally one of our best run blockers.

I mean, I have kept saying Daboll was a hot seat guy. I don't think it is a stretch to say this.

Chuba is a core player. Has worked hard to improve steadily and always plays hard, regardless of situation. Say what you want about paying RB's but we need to build around players with his mentality.
