Offensive line struggles? Yes.
-
We don't have anything close to a top 5 duo. Especially not if you include Chinn. He definitively is not a CB. And for as much as we love Horn he has about 25 seconds of tape as an NFL player. We might have the "potential" to be a top 5-10 unit but that is far from the truth on a current ranking.
-
He sucks but if he is playing preseason 2nd or 3rd string what does it matter? He is here for another two weeks at most. Personally I would have never signed him in the first place but it is what it is.
-
Yeah, you still need bodies for camp/preseason. No reason to be rash.
-
Richardson was the one guy I still don't understand the hype on. He is so clearly a massive project and hasn't done much to show otherwise. His bust potential is insane.
-
Yeah but remember the threshold for making the playoffs is lower now. More teams are in.
-
I think "expecting" playoffs is a little much. I do think that we shouldn't immediately be discounted as a possibility.

how important is it that we win preseason games?
kungfoodude replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
It is not important. The important thing is that we stay healthy and the first string guys have some chemistry. -
Will Levis #1 to the Panthers Confirmed
kungfoodude replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't care enough about it because they aren't our guys. If they succeed it will be their hard work that accomplishes it. If it is fueled by doubters, all the better for them. If they failed it was also on them. The doubters were correct. -
Will Levis #1 to the Panthers Confirmed

I don't think there are a lot of people who really HATE Willis. He was just so obviously a very flawed prospect. Similar story with Levis. Less flawed of a prospect but ultimately not a guy you take in the first round. Whether they succeed or not is going to be on them, at this point. -
Von Miller: The Panthers were the better team
kungfoodude replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I literally said the entire time that the Broncos were so CLEARLY the worst team we had played all playoffs. They didn't have any semblance of an offense whatsoever and were led by the worst QB in the NFL that season. But, we had an inflexible coaching staff that couldn't stop beating their heads against the same wall. And the absolute jobbing the NFL was giving us. -
I don't think I have ever seen a more ham handed attempt to troll. It's either that or an autistic fit.

Yo! We got a game Saturday! How much time should Bryce get?
kungfoodude replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Full half. -
Yeah that was one of the most confounding roster moves we have made in recent memory. I sincerely hope that was mostly Rhule.
-
Unfortunately Thomas appears to be the classic example of a Huddle crush that just keeps proving they aren't interested in us, no matter that they occasionally look our way. He's ultimately a JAG and almost all JAG's are very replaceable.

If you could only go to one regular season panthers game this year.
kungfoodude replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am probably just gonna go to the Lions game and maybe the Bears game. -
Yeah that group will be a focus in the 2024 offseason, I'll wager.
-
Replacing him is very simple and very cheap. You can get dozens of guys every offseason that are capable of reproducing his results that are cheaper. Sure he passes the look test and his RAS was nasty. But that don't mean poo if you can't do it on Sunday's.
-
Yeah, he will get cut next offseason.
-
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the move at the time and still am not a fan. You never know, maybe he pans out. If not, hopefully Fitterer will be smart enough to learn from it unlike Hurney.
-
It was basically a Hurney move. Fitterer hasn't established the Hurney track record so I can forgive him for whiffing(if he does) on a guy like Johnson. You just don't want to see that offseason after offseason like Hurney was known for.
-
Well he is a problem we will have this season but we don't have to have that same problem next season. Which, I have no idea, maybe he really does make that much of a difference in the locker room. If so....I mean....I guess it is what it is.
-
Well none of us are in the locker room so we can't know how true any of that is. But I know that in a 17 game schedule praying a 2nd string OT doesn't see the field isn't likely to work out. The truth is that he needs to be replaced next offseason.
-
Young finally understanding how bad Erving is. Welcome to the Panthers, buddy. We already seen plenty of that.
-
I gotcha. I didn't realize you were talking partial. That was why we split a full three ways(two seats). Schedules made it hard for anyone to make every game. Made more sense to chop it up among a group. Plus we got Club Level seating for a steal.
