  1. Shaq isn't a bad player but that contract is an albatross. If we can get anything for him, I would move him.
  2. Thanks for that rent free space in your head.
  3. It doesn't. Quite unfortunately even RB's of his caliber don't move the needle much without a good QB and a good HC. We have neither at the moment. His window of high production is likely getting shorter and shorter. He would be largely wasted in our pursuit of the pieces that will make us successful again. Big Ben was on the most consistent franchise in NFL history. That comparison doesn't land for that reason alone.
  4. When you have an OC this bad and a QB room this bad, there is no secret sauce. The fact that you couldn't see this coming is just sad.
  5. No one with any sense thought this was a Super Bowl team.
  6. Yeah, it's been a little of whiffs with a lot of swings. There were some obviously pretty terrible and obvious Rhule/Snow picks, however. Maybe Fitterer can prove to be much more of an NFL professional. I will say the first two moves in the post Rhule era(trading Robby and CMC) have definitely looked like good moves. I can't fault him at all for what he got in return.
  7. Well it's unlikely we can get much lower, so I don't see why anyone wouldn't be optimistic. I guess you are the exception because you were obviously basically incorrect about everything that has transpired. I can see how your pride might sting a little.
  8. There could be a hold my beer moment in the near future. I would be careful about making that statement.
  9. The best receiver in an offense that is ranked 32nd in Yardage and 29th in Receiving Yardage? My....whatever will we do.
  10. In fairness, I am not sure how much further back we could be set after five straight losing seasons.
  11. We have had a lot of good RB's over the years. It's just that in the modern era that position is somewhat devalued due to the dramatic shift in league offensive philosophies.
  12. Maybe not but we might finally have our opportunity to draft a top tier talent at QB again. That would be a great help for the future of our franchise.
  13. I think some Huddlers are as mistaken as our organization has been for years in regards to NFL RB open market value. This was a great return. Never gonna be able to replace what CMC's beings to the table but he wasn't in a position to help make us successful in our current state.
  14. That was a very predictable bad trade. This trade was just making the best of an initial mistake(CMC contract) and the fact that you had a competitive player that wanted to go win somewhere. I was actually shocked we got the haul we did for him.
  15. Moore is probably off the cap because of the cap implications and because there aren't going to be many teams that are interested in that contract.
  16. The lottery is so fuging bad. It is literally the worst thing in all professional sports. And they still tank in the NBA.
  17. I kept warning people about the Browns 1999-2017 likeness. They didn't want to believe but the similarities are so striking.
  18. Yeah and he may prove to have been part of the problem but the way his job role was structured is going to leave a lot of questions because we just don't get complete behind the scenes info about each individual roster decision.
  19. I share the concerns but I don't think we will see change this offseason. I am actually most concerned that Tepper may attempt to micromanage in the manner that Rhule did, which would limit how good of a GM candidate we could even get.
  20. Oh I never said excited. I am just glad to see how it works out because we should know if that is an area of concern or not. If it looks very similar to previous drafts, we know he also needs to be booted. If Fitt can at least Hurney us into a great QB prospect, that is basically all we need. The rest is just icing.
  21. Yeah, the Cam ship has sailed. He isn't ever gonna be that guy they remember again. It's sad but we saw it up close and personal. Just remember the good times and don't prolong that suffering.
  22. We have no idea how much he has been responsible for and how much Rhule was. The structure was set that Fitterer was subordinate to Rhule. Without having a window behind the scenes, I think Fitterer deserves an offseason as a real GM. If it all looks the same......then we know the truth and we can all get on the same page about calling for his head on a pike.
