  1. Raiders, Browns, Bengals. They stayed bad for years. The history of NFL rebuilds is not kind. But, continue to think it is, David.
  2. Yeah, I mean we are saying the same thing
  3. Scorched earth is rarely successful in the NFL.
  4. I am just teasing him because he was so ardently anti-Herbert. I was a huge Herbert fan. I was also not a big Burrow fan. I saw crazy intangibles but not a lot of elite traits.
  5. Highly unrealistic but that would be amazing.
  6. This is where he needs to develop. He knows plays and play design but he has to be able to use them in a coherent way during a game.
  7. Yeah but Tyler is sub 300. That is actually a little bit of a concern.
  8. It was scorched earth. I have never seen a roster deconstructed like that.
  9. I also want to be clear that I was dead set against the idea of a massive rebuild in 2020. Partly because of what came to pass, it is usually hard to pull up from that nosedive because you don't have good people making the decision to tear everything down to the foundation. That is NEVER a wise choice in the NFL.
  10. BuT wE hAvE tHe NuMbEr TwO dEfEnSe!!! Meanwhile.........27th in TO's Forced, 21st in Points Against......
  11. Tepper warned us all the rebuild would be long. He was telegraphing the fact that he didn't have a fuging clue.
  12. Every year we keep Rhule will put us in the hole further. I suspect after this offseason it will be much, much worse. Get ready for Rebuild 2.0, starting in 2023.
  13. Well, the Bills got Allen at 7. There are quite a few starters in the NFL that weren't top 10 picks. But, it also takes a competent coaching staff and competent player evaluation, so I guess we can go ahead and write that off.
  14. I was told it was a soft defense and Sam Darnold.
  15. I like him as a prospect but I have grown to be leary of small, athletic centers. Kalil was unreal but a lot of the guys with similar profiles(Tyler C being one) have not lived up to that billing.
  16. IOL are different. TE's have grown to be game changers. Centers are important but also far easier to obtain.
  17. Centers rarely go top 10. In fact they rarely go top 15. I think Linderbaum could be. I wouldn't be mad at getting him in that 10-15 range.
  18. They are only cute. That's why our 2021 draft is likely to be the disaster that I think it will be. Trading down is for teams that are built or crush at talent evaluations. We aren't either of those.
  19. Hey, all jokes aside, I would take either of those top two DE's.
