  1. Maybe. But I also don't think there is much chance of one of the teams at 8-12 really wanting to trade up to 6. If this was a QB heavy draft, sure. The bulk of the really elite players at impact positions are going to go before us. I think the legit scenarios to trade down aren't going to be in the 10-15 range, more like the bottom 10-12 of the first round. If that ends up being the case, it's probably not worth it to us unless we get a massive haul. I just don't want to see them get cute like they tried to in the last draft and end up with a bunch of guys that aren't gonna make an impact, project players or really poor positional value selections.
  2. I'd rather get a LT, because those are so insanely hard to come by. Plus, you know any trade down would have us draft some ignorant poo in the 2nd or 3rd round that we just don't need. In a perfect world, I could get behind that. With these dopes, just take the layup and grab a Neal/Cross/Ekwonu.
  3. Guys like TO got multiple chances because they still played hard. Brown literally rage quit during a game. He is done. His off the field antics are now on the field. No team will want that at this point of the season.
  4. Sam doesn't get a mention, he didn't push for a trade. All Rhule. Candidate for the 2021 Bernie Madoff Award.
  5. We have been good on scripted stuff most of the year. When adjustments are made, we have no idea what we are doing. So......they have no NFL ability whatsoever.
  6. Shaq Thompson. Finally showed he was worth the draft pick and is one of the few guys that consistently seems to have a real problem with all this losing.
  7. I believe his NFL career is officially over. No reason to risk your playoff life on s guy that may quit mid-game.
  8. The tie breaker is SOS not head to head.
  9. I would throw Ekwonu in that group as well. Any of those three guys is likely a day one starter and impact player for us. Linderbaum is in that group, as well but we can probably trade down and get him.
  10. With a SOS at 0.507, we are largely locked into the 6th spot as our floor, even if we somehow win against Tampa. Our ceiling is 4th, as the SOS gap between us and Houston is likely too large to make up in one week. So, let's take a look at the games impacting our final draft ranking. WTF @ NY Giants This is our best chance to move up. Both teams are toting long losing streaks headed into this final contest(NYG 5, WTF's 4), although the Giants are losing by 18.4 ppg since Jones went out with injury. However, 3 of the 4 victories this season have been home games for the NYG. NY Jets @ Buffalo Bills Although the Jets have been playing better as of late(choked away a chance at a 2 game win streak), the Bills are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment, riding a 3 game winning streak and in a tight race for the AFC East crown with the Pats. I don't see much hope of the Jets taking this.
  11. Yeah, you literally have no idea what you are talking about. Trading up in a draft means you have a player in mind and it is most often a QB in the top 10. This isn't a strong QB draft. Also, the fact that there are multiple teams with more than one first round pick this year makes it less likely we would be the partner at #6.
  12. You see how the Rhule culture is working. Lack of accountability, being soft, etc. This is officially worse than 2019.
  13. This makes even less sense when you describe what you meant. The NFL Draft isn't Madden.
  14. Another player blaming others, much like the coach. Yes, that "culture" is showing up now. I see it.
  15. I don't think you need to build the OL first, you need to take good players. The far, far, far better players are at OL. And, yes, great QB prospects will be there in the future. They don't stop making those, although you sometimes get drafts like 2022 where there isn't one. I am sure more than one team will overdraft a QB. It literally happens almost every year.
  16. We are never going to agree because you believe taking a QB, regardless of ability, is the right move. It's a move the fails very often and one that bad franchises are well known for. I get the theory behind what you are saying but in practice it doesn't work out very often. I say don't reach on a prospect. If you have the best QB in this draft as a late first round or second round grade, then you draft accordingly. Hence why I would avoid these QB's with our pick.
  17. Lol. Why would the Eagles trade their picks to only go up to #6? That makes no sense at all.
  18. Same. He's an excellent player and exactly the type of guy I expect them to pick instead of an offensive lineman. Or maybe we will overdraft a guy like Jordan Davis to fix our run D. Whatever we do, I am sure it won't be the right move. That I am convinced of after the past two first round drafts.
  19. The bigger reason and more likely reason is that he has no fuging clue what he is doing.
  20. Funny thing about teams who have no idea what they are doing, they are frequently wrong.
  21. Since 2019, 6 QB's have started games for us. Since 2018(the era where we officially went full Browns, IMO), we have started 7 QB's.
