    Well, I certainly hope we are headed towards rekindling that kind of excitement. This draft is potentially another step in the right direction. Let's all hope, no matter how optimistic or pessimistic we are, that this rebuild goes well. The alternative is gonna be pretty rough.

    I would be disappointed if we neglected the OL that much. I very much would like to see at least 2 OL in the first three picks.

    I have been around a few paper mills over the years. They all smell like poo. Nothing new about that. In that industry, if you comment on the smell the workers will usually give you the, "Smells like money" line.

    If I am probably looking at making myself look good for a HC gig, I don't think I would want Sam Darnold either. I certainly hope his main focus isn't getting a new job. That wouldn't bode well for us.

    If I am Joe Brady, I would want a QB, playmaker or LT in the first. Any of those probably help him out a lot. But, this is also me being Joe Brady and having my view of Sam Darnold. We have no idea what he thinks about Darnold.

    I suppose the decision to wait on the 5th year options gives us the flexibility to wait and see. Perhaps a guy like Fields falls and then we decide not to pick up that option? If that is the case however, the trade makes less sense. I am not sure we are gonna know what "the plan" is until it has already transpired.

    I don't know that I would put any of these CB's in the "best chance to succeed" category, personally. We will see how it works out.

    I am not that high on any of them but the hope is that perhaps they can be at worst a solid #2 CB.

    CB is probably a trade down selection, IMO. I don't see any of them going in the top 8. I suspect the run on them will be from 10-25 in the draft.

    Winning this game would be huge. I said I wanted 6 points from TB/FL games so 1 will be on track. 7 of 8 would be amazing, though.

    I honestly thought the lack of LT depth was kind of common knowledge.

    Tom Brady hates this rule change, so I immediately am a huge fan.

    Well, this isn't "what we want" it is "what will the Panthers do." I suppose the conventional wisdom is tilted OT at this point.

    The almost 83% total for OT is pretty amazing. I am not sure we have seen that kind of consensus among Panthers/Huddle fans for a draft.
