  1. There are some good IOL prospects available. I don't expect us to go OL in the 2nd, however.
  2. I don't think there are many elite LT's waiting. But I am okay with a LT that ends up being a very good OG. Hell, I'm happy with an NFL caliber OL at this point.
  3. I don't know that I can blame the urgency on Tepper. You definitely get mixed signals. I honestly think Rhule has more of a "win now" mentality than maybe Tepper does.
  4. I think it was the wrong decision to take Horns over Fields(or Slater). Very glad Tepper didn't meddle. VERY glad.
  5. TBH, he would probably have to have a monster year to get national stage love. Small market team that isn't likely to be a playoff contender makes the spotlight smaller. Once he establishes himself as a consistent elite player, I think he finally gets that kind of love.
  6. I think DT, S or LB are likely. For some reason I don't think we start going OL until after the 3rd.
  7. Yeah, for the shade that some of the posters here threw at him....they definitely didn't pay attention. He was having an elite year in the advanced stats.
  8. Lots of question marks with that Jackson, Horn, Bouye secondary. Could be really great, could be kind of bad. Maybe the most athletic CB unit we have had.
  9. What was your grade for the #8 overall pick, Jaycee Horn?
  10. Well plenty of teams passed on Pat Mahomes. Just because other teams make bad moves doesn't mean those decisions are sound. It is all about the careers these guys make for themselves now. Horn could go down as a massive mistake/bust, a Perennial All-Pro or something in the middle. Same with Fields. Time will tell how good/bad bad move is. I am definitely not confident it was the right choice.
  11. The real nightmare scenario is if Horn isn't at least as good as James Bradberry.
  12. I just expect us to go for a need position that the fans view as a far less than the team. DT fits that mold.
  13. I have to assume we are going to draft a DT in the 2nd. Seems like a Panthers move.
  14. We need players, period. Trading away picks doesn't make sense. Those top 3-4 round picks can all be two deep players for us. Trading back in means you believe a guy is a star player. I don't really trust our talent evaluators enough to want that to happen. Perhaps Fitterer and Rhule look like geniuses in hindsight but I am pretty skeptical at the moment.
  15. Trading back up into the first would make me wonder if Hurney was phoning in picks from DC.
  16. I sincerely hope that is GM-speak and he wasn't #1 on our board. I hope he meant "at the time."
  17. Fields there, Slater there.....and then we pick Horn. Ooof. Well, he better be a top 10 CB by the time his rookie deal is up, otherwise......woof. I was excited about this draft. Now I am just nervous.
  18. Exactly one person was correct. Oh Panthers.....
  19. I am okay with having two good QB's. I am DEFINITELY okay with having a Darnold back up plan.
  20. Well that is what you get for listening to the Huddle.
  21. Pretty sure Trevor could probably murder a hooker and the cops would turn the other way in that area.
