    I think in theory he should but I do think Evero may struggle maximizing his abilities.

    Seems like just about everyone is locking in on Walker to us. I don't hate it at all but I do worry about the scenario where he goes earlier. I just hope we have a reasonable backup plan.

    I think Dart is a fantasy scenario, IMO. You would have to be lightspeed stupid as a team to take that dude in the first, much less in the top 10. I do think Sanders could slide to us, though.

    Unfortunately, we are the king of these type of guys coming in and flaming out. I am just going to assume all our WR's are going to do the same because it seems to be pretty accurate.

    If we can get more draft capital, we should be dipping at WR in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

    I think speed is way less of a problem than skill. AT and Coker aren't burners but are very skilled. XL is very fast but not very skilled. I am okay getting a skilled AND fast guy but pure speed isn't useful at all.

    And he is a true EDGE, unlike Walker who is really more of an OLB, IMO. I think he and Green are the two of the most advanced pass rushers in this draft. Not flawless, obviously, but high floor guys.

    Undersized but I love him. I think he is a top 3-4 pass rusher in this class.

    I am gonna be honest, I will have to see a lot from Arch to understand this hype. If he is this massively generational player, why has he never been able to beat out a 3rd to 5th round pick in a very, very weak QB draft? I don't recall Lawrence or Luck needed this time on the bench in their "generational" career arcs.

    I think they most likely gave some assurances that he has time to build but I wouod be very surprised if they opted to tank straight out of the gate. I mean it may happen anyway, regardless.

    Oh yeah, if it's a guy like that, absolutely. Or even a Kyle Hamilton(taken #14, BTW). You can sign me up for that all day. But if he isn't that.....oh wee mayne it's gonna be a rough time in the Panthers FO after making him a top 10 pick.

    Yeah, I am not sure I am buying that. Or that he is a definitively elite player. His ceiling is very high, without a doubt.

    I think that would be a massive overdraft. Like the player but to be a top 10 safety you really need to be a stud.

    Oh I am well aware. It's going to have to be an outlier team that really wants a player. But, because of the wide variance in the evaluations of some of the higher value positions, I do think it is possible to see some offers. Remember, we aren't the only dumb NFL team.

    The blue chip group in this draft is more like 3-5 players. Trading down below 15 is perfectly acceptable to me to add 2nd and 3rd round picks this year. The perception is the blue chip poop is small but the solid starter and contributor pool is very, very deep in several positions. If you get 3-5 top 90 picks, especially on a dumpster fire roster like ours, we should EXPECT 100% of them to be in the two deep and at LEAST 2-3 starters, as well. That is why I am okay trading down even into the 20's if the price makes sense.

    Brooks was a bad pick because you overdrafted a RB in a weak class. This seems to be a fundamental Panthers FO flaw. We see a strong class of X position and then immediately run the other way. It's infuriating.
