  1. I just want us to get it together more for Game 2. That was a tough watch.
  2. Yeah, maybe my expectations were just too high for Game 1. It was bad. I just never in a million years expected it to be that bad. He is a super, super intelligent kid. I hope he takes it personally and rectifies all that next week.
  3. Go back and watch. He threw behind and over threw multiple times. I was flabbergasted. A couple I get but it probably happened 6-7 times at least. It's game 1, I am not jumping off a cliff but I am genuinely a little concerned. If he didn't get rattled by that game, I sure as fug did.
  4. Young is an extremely smart and heady guy. Those were two hyper dumb-dumb INT's in scenarios where there was no need to press. That's not what I expected. He just didn't see these guys and his brain is what I(and I think most of us) coveted most. But, remember the great Peyton Manning threw fugload of INT's in year 1. I am just still processing the shock. It's probably not going to end up as bad as that looked.
  5. It wasn't just long ones, he whiffed multiple times on the intermediate throws. There is no sugarcoating it, he was really, really bad. I fully expected us to lose but I just didn't see him performing that poorly coming. I don't really know what to think. I hope it's just an aberration.
  6. I am not complaining. I can't believe what I just saw.
  7. He over threw and threw behind on multiple occasions. That was a real stunner. He is the rookie I expect to have the least issues with that. Like I said. I couldn't have possibly have been more of a Young supporter but JFC he did not look good. I mean, at all. I am literally shocked about the performance.
  8. Yeah I didn't love our "weapons" or the scheme. Young wasn't completely at fault.
  9. I am not deciding yet. I am just shocked it was that bad on Game 1. I was a firm believer in Young as the #1 pick, he was my guy. Nothing in the offseason or preseason made me think he would be that bad in Game 1. I figure it's inevitable he would have a few bad games, but Game 1 I just didn't expect.
  10. I just didn't have "Bryce Young shits the bed" on my game 1 bingo card. Like, not at all. I can't empathize how stunned I was to see him play that poorly. He isn't at all the only reason we lost but he was way, way too much of it for my comfort level.
  11. It was literally visible on his face multiple times. Maybe rattled is a poor word to use but very, very clearly frustrated most of the game. That was very obvious.
  12. It was about as bad as I could possibly imagine as an unapologetic Young Stan. His throws were inaccurate, his reads were poor and he was clearly rattled although the protection was largely good. 1 of 10 rating on debut. It is a huge concern moving forward.
  13. Well, there is no sugarcoating this. That was an F+ debut for this "new look" franchise at best. It would be hard to imagine a worse debut performance for our #1 overall pick. This is bad. This is very bad.
  14. Leaning Falcons because they have some more offensive juice against a little bit of a questionable defensive unit for us. Really hard to make any predictions because we just haven't seen any live fire reps yet. Especially with the wholesale coaching turnover.
  15. Yeah, I mean this is the biggest layup of all layups.
  16. 4 week IR. Not a huge deal unless he isn't healthy after that.
  17. Unfortunately for Burns, he basically has to be a top 3 DE in the NFL for that deal to not look like a complete disaster. He'd have to be Peppers 2.0 to make it look like a wise decision. That's the reality of the market.
  18. I mean, sign me up for the version where he balls out ans keeps doing it. The money will get figured out.
  19. Yeah, the quickest way for Fitterer to get the axe is for Young to be a massive flop. I think almost all of us hope that isn't the case(save our extra special "I WUZ RIGHT" crowd). Other than that, he'll probably be given at least a couple of more offseasons before any sort of pressure spikes, IMO. Clearly hitting on Young would buy him some considerable time.
  20. Well he did also recently draft the #1 QB in this draft. Lol. Overall I am a little skeptical of Fitterer. Some of these 2nd and 3rd round Hurney-esque trade ups have me concerned.
  21. Rhule was the GM so he takes the heat. Now, that said, Scott has been the GM since early last season so we are now building a true profile about what Fitterer is. Hindsight could still prove to be very unkind to Scott, depending on the next couple of offseasons.
  22. Yeah, I don't know that he will develop much here
  23. I think people dramatically over value Corral's league worth. I really doubt it would be a problem waiving him and signing him to the PS. Not saying we should, just saying if they went in that direction I doubt there would be an issue. You have to consider that with 17 games and expanded playoffs, every position is extremely critical. Matt Corral is really in no position to be able to help anyone in the league at QB. He's a developmental guy and that is a luxury that few teams are going to have roster spots available for.
