  1. Eventually we will be forced to quit fuging around at center and find an actual long term solution. It's inevitable.
  2. INB4 he chases after the next frontrunner like he did the Pats.
  3. I think those confused feelings are a result of the blood flow you are attempting to justify.
  4. I agree there nuance. But in general reaching that milestone should not be a difficult task given our situation.
  5. I think there is room for reasons WHY it happens but they can't just be, "didn't perform up to expectations."
  6. Well, I am not in the camp that thinks Wallace is the future either. I ultimately would understand the decision even without the injury, if perhaps not completely agree.
  7. TBH, without the Achilles tear there would be no comparison between Wallace and even this version of Shaq. Wallace was a so-so rookie and Shaq has been an extremely productive and capable veteran. Now price however......
  8. Sorry man, I am not really buying what your are selling. This isn't like XL, IMO, who was obviously never going to work out. I believe McMillian is the best WR in this class so expecting him to get 1k yards(or very close) shouldn't be some crazy stretch. Again, if our offense overall just struggles, I get it. As for AT, love the guy but consistent 1k+ seasons are likely to stop happening in the near future so I just don't buy that as justification for why T-Mac would be unable to get the targets necessary to produce. That scenario is either he isn't working out as well as anticipated or the offense isn't working out as well as anticipated.
  9. It is likely he misses most of 2025. so this discussion seems rather foolish overall.
  10. I can't excuse T-Mac not being a 1k guy in a 17 game schedule. Especially with how many of those rookie WR's have done that in the past 15 years. He needs to produce quickly. Don't get me wrong, if the offense just ends up being broken for some reason, that is a valid excuse but he really needs to show he is the guy very early.
  11. Yeah but jumping up in the draft to get a project #2/3 WR is just plain not smart. I am down on XL because the thought was that he could be a potential #1 WR and he has been anything but that so far. Also, the idea of him as a slot is even more upsetting because you pass on several more productive slot guys(McConkey being the most obvious) that were TREMENDOUSLY more NFL ready. I was not a fan of the XL move at the time and I am not a fan of the decision in short term hindsight either. He is just simply going to have to be a guy that proves it on the field to me. McMillian was my #1 WR in this draft and I was a pro-McMillian guy. However, he isn't gonna get treated with baby gloves either. We are in the era of rookie WR's putting up 1k+ yd seasons with regularity. He's going to(barring injury) have to be one of the top 2 or 3 WR's in this class in terms of production. And that's being very generous to him. He really needs to be THE guy from this class. It isn't like he is gonna have a lot of guys taking catches away from him.
  12. Like....not even close. You could argue maybe some Johnny Manziel-ishness but that isn't even a little like Sanders.
  13. Yeah, I am not getting fooled by these builds and rebuilds again. Show it on the field, make me a believer in this version of the vision.
  14. I mean, I just have to agree to disagree. XL did not look good at all. Coker was great but I guess we need to see if he develops into a real, long term top 3 WR or not. I have hope for him. Sanders is hard to say. Started terrible, turned around quickly and then post scary injury he just disappeared. Really hard to get a read on him. RB I am not worried about. But that's not really a position I ever really worry about. You should ALWAYS be able to plug in a capable back for a decent deal. I would say that our roster is predominantly questions and not answers. Let's hope the 2026 offseason is more answers than questions.
  15. Yeah but our recent history is probably less than a 20% "panning out" rate on Rounds 1-3. I am firmly in the prove it stage as far as that goes. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the guys we drafted a lot but I still need to see them develop and produce.
  16. Yeah, loades is a little bit of a leap. It COULD be loaded.
  17. I still look at the roster and think it's a bottom 3 overall in the NFL, if not still firmly last. It's just gonna take some time, IMO.
  18. I am still expecting something in the 5-7 win range but to be more frequently competitive. It's a long road to rebuild this franchise. This is still far closer to the beginning than the end, IMO.
  19. I ain't telling anyone how to live but I rarely even consider a jersey until the second contract.
  20. I would probably hesitate to call our WR room loaded just yet. It COULD be loaded but it has a lot of things that need to go well. Tet needs to pan out(fingers crossed). XL needs to actualy develop(much more pessimistic here) Coker needs more reps and to continue to improve(also would like to see an expanded role). AT needs to keep winning in his valiant race against Father Time. The "Others" category just needs to have an additional solid contributor or two. David Moore was a pleasant surprise late last season. Maybe we get a guy or two like that pop up. Preferably amongst the younger additions.
  21. 49ers and Rams wanting him seems like a positive sign for us. They do have a lot of success in scouting WR's
  22. That got me thinking and so I had to look. 17 fuging years now. Wow.
  23. Well this FSU kicker was 6 of 9 in his collegiate career from 50+. Not 100% sure he will be better(hopefully so). I don't have good data on Pinero from my research. It appears the maximum 55+ yd FG's he has attempted is 3.
