    i hope darnold gets some time. i’d hate to see him go into game 1 without any reps against another team. if you’re worried about him getting hurt in a pre-season game, how do you expect him to make it through 17 games?

    he was using logic. with PJ we’re comparing similar situations, with Darnold we’re not you can’t compare apples to oranges. the last 3 years with the Jets is not the same as this year with the Panthers. it’s a different situation, and we’ll see how he and his play adapt.

    i mean based on his body and size. they want him to be a non-athletic pocket passer who can quickly read the D and abuse their weaknesses, like manning and brady. they don’t want him to be cam/fields multi attack type QBs.
