  1. Thats absolutely absurd. He was running for his life the entire game, and did not pick apart a damn thing.
  2. Looked like Rodgers was actively trying to throw the game. Like seriously, he made some of the worst throws of his entire career yesterday, and that is not hyperbole.
  3. Middling front 7? Are they fuging serious?
  4. I thought Horn played great for his first game in the NFL. They didn't throw his way much at all, which leads me to believe he had his guy locked up most all game. The TD he gave up was just a laser great throw by Wilson, still he was in great position and was a hair away from knocking it down.
  5. It was the first game of the season, after a short pre-season. We won. New QB, new starters on the O-Line, young coaches. A win is a win is a win. Is there a lot of poo that needs to be cleaned up? Absolutely, but there is also a lot of good stuff to build on. Im excited that Sam was only sacked once. Erving was not as terrible as I expected him to be. Now, the Guards on the other hand are a completely different story. Paradis played pretty well, but we've got a real issue with the interior O-Line.
  6. Huddlers having an agenda against our starting QB?!?! I will not stand for such baseless slander!
  7. Dude we must not have been watching the same game yesterday. Sam was just fine. NO QB is going to be perfect on every single throw. Did you not watch the Chiefs/Browns game? They've got 2 of the best QBs in the league and both of them also miss easy throws. Hell, Brady does too. Did you see how bad Aaron Rodgers looked yesterday? Moral of the story is that no QB is perfect. Sam Darnold had a fine game yesterday. Hell, he threw for 250 yards in the first freaking half. 2nd half offensive struggles were squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staffs failure to adapt to the Jets halftime changes. Simple as.
  8. We should have won that game yesterday by at least 21 points. We were by far the superior team in all phases of the game, but a few hard headed coaching decisions and player errors kept us from reaching our full potential. The win is promising though, and it feels good to be 1-0 instead of 0-1. There will be a lot of good takeaways to build on, and also a lot of things to clean up. If we can do that, I really think we can be a very good football team this year.
  9. Yeah, Boy Genius wasn’t very inspiring today. He needs to get a lot better.
  10. That fumble was 100% on the FB, not Sam.
  11. Gameplan was killing them first half. Not sure why they changed it up so much. I think the D also got tired as the game went on. Chasing the QB around all game wears you out.
  12. We should have won this game by 30. Still a promising start IMO.
  13. They can miss me with that Sam Darnold is the worst QB in the NFL poo.
  14. CAROLINA PANTHERS WITH SHARP TEETH AND CLAWS RAWWR RAWR! LIGHTENING FAST BIG BLACK CATS PANTHERS KICKIN ASS RAWWR RAWR!
  15. Yeah totally. 160 yards passing in 1 half is definitely not moving the ball. What fuging planet do you live on dude?
  16. Yeah, objectively the Rams have a much better line than us to begin the season, but we all know how quickly these things can change. Especially with ancient Andrew Whitworth playing LT and several of their guys coming back from big injuries. I guess we shall see…
  17. No team is set at every position group. I’m sure the Rams fans think they have holes just like we do. Especially with them trading every 1st rounder they’ve had for a decade and handing out market setting contracts to many vets. That’s just how the NFL is set up. No team is going to have studs at every single position.
  18. Goddamn imagine Stanford in this offense with these weapons. He’d have thrown for 5000 yards.
  19. Wilson is really 6'3"?!?! Damn, he looks like Johnny Manziel back there to me.
  20. Yeah, physically he definitely reminds me of Pickles. And lest we forget, Clausen was very highly regarded coming out of Notre Dame.
  21. Exactly. As a QB you never just want to stand there flat-footed. He has been coached to have "happy feet", as has every single other QB in the NFL.
